Stayed one night prior to flying to Grenada from North terminal... 6 times to Caribbean previously flew from South and stayed in Hilton.
15 Nights parking included in the price.
Park up and check your car in FIRST, then do hotel check-in...
Efficient, friendly staff... Room spacious and spotless.
Because of a cock-up by our travel agent we had a voucher for a free meal in the bistro restaurant. Meal quite basic, OK for a freebie, but I'm glad we didn't pay (food bland and lukewarm).
Public areas well maintained and serviced regularly.
Bar prices reasonable, service friendly.
Easy check-out (had left credit card details on check-in so just walked out), bill awaiting at home when we arrived - reasonable.
Didn't do breakfast.
As at Hilton, covered walkway to terminal.
PLUS POINT OVER HILTON : You don't have to get a bus to go and get your car, just pop over the bridge. Although your car is taken off site for the duration, it's brought back in time for your flight home.
I'd certainly stay there again.

We got this hotel at a good price for an overnight before leaving for our holidays. Couldn't be more convenient for the airport as its about 2 minutes walk!! Very comfortable bed and room with lovely toiletries. We didn't eat there as we arrived late but did use the bar. Expensive bar prices but not as bad as I thought it would be. Would def stay again if we get similar prices.

Great deal through superbreaks, ideal for Gatwick flights. Would deff book again although

We found the bed to be very uncomfortable, extremely hard. (Why can't European hotel beds be like American ones? Never yet had a hard bed in the US.) Despite the room being booked as a 'triple' and the sofabed being made up, there were only towels for 2 people. A phone call to housekeeping to request another towel seemed to take forever for them to arrive. There was no hairdrier in the bathroom, which is odd for a 4 star hotel, and awkward since there was also no shower-cap!

We stayed at the Sofitel for 1 night previous to a morning flight, check in was straight-forward and efficient, the lift system is a bit strange and can be time consuming. The rooms are spacious and comfortable especially the beds which sofitel prides itself on , the bathroom is clean modern and functional.
we had a drink in the bar which was comfortable and relaxing and the service was excellent, but decided to use a restaurant in the south terminal.
Check-out was easy and it only takes a few minutes to get to your flight check-in, the hotel is quite expensive but the price is justified by the covenience of its location.

We stayed at the Sofitel Gatwick hotel for the one night prior to our morning flight to the USA. The hotel is within walking distance (under cover) of Gatwick
