The room's were basic but very clean. I would have liked tea and coffe making facilities in the room (these could be hired from reception for a price). The breakfast is self service and has something to suit everone. I would recommend taking the earlist sitting time as it can get very packed.
It was my son's birthday while we were on holiday. You can order a cake at reception on your arrival for the date in question. During our evening meal at the hotel they catering staff all gathered around and sang Happy Birthday to my son. It was great and made his birthday very special.
The free suttle bus to DLP was great especially on the return trip as your feet are worn out from all the walking in Disney land.

We stayed at the Hotel Santa Fe from 18th - 22nd April 2005 and couldn't fault a thing. Our room was clean and tidy, and the bed was so comfy I never wanted to get up after a day of walking around the Disney park!
As there were eight of us we had two separate rooms (two double beds in each) which had an interconnecting door, so that technically we were always together and not having to run round to each other.
The hotel is more of a western theme than a Mexican... this is mostly obvious by the HUGE Clint Eastwood picture above the hotel!
The hotel's location is very close to the Disney Park... within walking distance.
Right outside the hotel a free yellow shuttle bus takes you on a short drive to and from the Disney Park. Some advice is that... don't bother queing up for the shuttle as the French and German guests will push right in front of you! We had four children with us and they were more than happy to push them out of the way to get on the shuttle... likewise for the rides! In the end we left the baby buggies up as it's such a race to get on!
The exterior of the hotel is a bit bland, however this may be what the exterior of a real Mexican house is like.

This was our third stay at the Sante Fe and once again, very pleased with it.
Rooms very comfortable and warm.
Breakfast good if somewhat unrelaxed - mid term in France and oh the crowds.
Shuttle buses make the short journey to the Park no problem. About a 10 minute walk otherwise.
Bar very nice and relaxed in evening.
Only fault on cleanliness was under the bed still had sweet papers, etc. from previous guests.
We only had breakfast there, not evening meals.
Staff at reception and shop and bar were most helpful and polite.
Bar had nice folk type musician at night, very nice.
Yep I think we can say we will return the 4th time to this hotel.

Having already been to Disneyland Paris before we had high expectations of this hotel. Having previously stayed at the Disney's New York Hotel.
The Santa Fe on first impressions looked rather grim from the outside. Once in reception the Disney charm became evident. Check in was quick and reception staff okay although grasp of English poor. (The one we spoke to anyway).
The room itself was okay and decorated Mexican style. Bathroom tiles rather grubby and not enough wardrobe space. No doors on the wardrobe but just a rail. Missed the tea and coffee making facilities too (you had to pay separately for that). I think our problem was that we kept comparing the Santa fee (2 star) to the New York (4 star).
The breakfast time was a nightmare because there were always long queues. Took half an hour to get in to breakfast and then we had difficulty getting a table. Appreciate this is busy time but they ran out of plates and we ended up eating off our tray!
I'd stay at another hotel next time and give the Santa Fe a miss. I missed the extras that the 4 star provided.

We have stayed at the Santa Fe twice now and really what more do you need? The rooms are basic but comfortable and the public areas provide all that you need.
Our first stay was in August 2002 and our last visit was in October 2004, which was far more busy. The park itself was a nightmare, the continentals really don't get the British tradition of queueing!! However we had no problems in the hotel.
Breakfast was fine, Continental and plentiful and although busy we didn't have a problem finding a table. The evening meals we thought were really good value, I think three courses for an adult was about 14 euros including a drink, which compared to Disney village prices was quite reasonable.
We are looking at going back again in August 2006 and unless we feel particularly extravagant and decide to go for the 4* we shall be back at the Santa Fe again!!

The Santa Fe is on first glance really boring, but once inside you enter the world of Disney and you get swept along by the Mexican feel of the place.
Our room was very clean with 2 double beds, the only thing it lacked was a kettle and some cups, although these could be hired at reception.
The breakfasts were fine.
All in all this hotel is fine with no frills, but there are all the frills you need in the park and village area.

We stayed in the Santa Fe during our first visit to DLP. On first glance the Santa Fe is a drab, plain looking hotel. Probably the least imaginative of all the hotels. Obviously this is the theme of the hotel though.
The reception area is lovely and clean, shop is nice, bar and restaurant was nice with nice all you can eat continental breakfasts. Rooms are good, not loads of space but in DLP at the end of a long day all you need is your bed!
Only 5 minutes on the free shuttle bus to the parks. A garage is just behind the hotel Santa Fe and I recommend you purchase bottles of pop, snacks etc here for your day in the parks as it will save you some money.
No entertainment really, just character visits but you don't go to DLP to stay in the hotel do you?!
Overall the Santa Fe was a good base to fill up with a good breakfast in the morning and come home to a nice bed in the evening. After staying here we then went on to stay in the Newport Bay Club and that place is totally different class but if all you require is somewhere to rest your weary legs and somewhere cheap then the Santa Fe is perfect.

This is the cheapest of the seven Disneyland Paris hotels but by no means does this reflect the standard of the Santa Fe.
Only 5 minutes on the shuttle bus to the Disney Parks.
Night time entertainment is limited but after a full day in the Parks all you want is your bed!
Highly recommended.
