Location
There is a games room for the kids and there are excellent pools one outside and one inside.
The nautical theme of the hotel is great, my Dad is really into yachts and sailing and the place is coming down with plaques of past America's Cup winner's boats and models of yachts which was really interesting.
Breakfast was amazing there was so much food available and catered for everyones needs. We needed a bottle filled for the baby and there was no problem we just went to the bar and they give us milk FOC and even heated it for us.
I would really recommend this hotel it is fantastic.

Very helpful and friendly staff.
Lovely hotel very large but impressive and clean.
Rooms were lovely but we had to ask for the tea and coffee making facilities though!!!!
Found prices for food etc comparable to UK, we didn't expect a cheap holiday and I don't think you should compare with Florida. Food very good and Breakfast was great, something for everyone and there is no need to go hungry.
The walk to Disney parks was very good a very pleasant stroll along the lake and took only 10 mins. There is also a bus which comes every 15 mins.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

Some, and I emphasise "some" of the staff left something to be desired. We needed to use the minibar fridge to keep some vitally important medications cool but I was told that this would not be allowed. Even when I spoke to the manager on this matter the response was the same - under no circumstances whatsoever could the minbar be used for anything other than what the hotel itself provides.
Also the chambermaid was rather less than thorough in her work - on two occasions (we only stayed for four nights!) we had to ask for basic essentials which she had omitted to leave - we're talking soap and toilet paper here!
However despite these criticisms I can still thoroughly recommend the Newport Bay Club. As I said, it was our second stay there so obviously we were more than happy with it the first time.

The hotel is 10 mins walk from the park, but doesnt feel that long as you walk through the Disney Village which is bustling. There is a bus every 10 mins at the front of the hotel if you dont want to walk, or take the Minnie Train from the bottom of the lake to Disney Village.
The hotel also has a pool which we used once one afternoon thinking it wouldnt be that busy... it was, although the inside pool wasnt as busy as the outdoor one.
We didn't see any entertainment advertised for the hotel but my parents used the bar in the evening and said it was just as entertaining watching the comings and goings of the other guests. There is a childrens activity corner on most of the day where a member of staff does crafts and stuff with them.
The hotel was first class with friendly staff and high levels of cleanliness, we would definately go back.

As you pull up to the hotel it looks awesome. When you approach the giant posts at the entrance and see all the staff running around in sailor suits its almost as if you're in a movie or something! The hotel is massive and looks stunning. It is set in beautiful grounds. The interior is beautiful. Check-in was very fast and easy.
We had a room with a balcony overlooking the front of the hotel. The room was very spacious with a giant double bed in, a large tv, table/chairs, drawers, bathroom, air con and heating and balcony. Mini bar and room service are available for a small fee. Rooms are lovely and the whole of the hotel carries the nautical theme excellently. As you walk through the corridors to your room they seem to go on forever and it feels like you're walking through a giant cruise ship. Lifts to all floors by the way.
The hotel is absolutely spotlessly clean with some lovely restaurants and bars and a well stocked shop. Drinks in the bar are very expensive but our waitress brought our drinks to us with complimentary bowls of crisps, nuts, olives and cakes!! Staff were excellent and VERY friendly.
The all you can eat breakfasts were very nice and set you up well for the day.
The hotel is overlooking the lake and is a lovely walk to Disney Village and onto the parks. However, the free bus is very regular and only a 5 minute journey.
No entertainment, just character visits but who needs hotel entertainment in Disney?!?!!
Overall, this hotel was spotless, excellent, friendly, massive and enjoyable. I would go as far as saying this is on a par with the best hotels I have ever stayed in.
Hopefully when we return to DLP in the near future we will be trying our utmost to get into this hotel.

The hotel was huge. It got a bit confusing as we were on the lower floor by the lake.
It was a 15 minute walk to the parks but I loved every second of the walks there. Me and my partner became little kids. I am not a coaster person but by the last day I queued up for the Aerosmith coasters 15 times. We must have gone on It's A Small World 30+ times we knew the words off by heart by the 3rd time!
We loved the music playing everywhere you went which was a bit disappointing when we got back to East Midlands and it was total silence, we really came down to earth with a bump.
Staff were lovely, they let us check in earlier than we were meant to as our room was ready and we had the best spaghetti bolognaise I have ever tasted,
