This is actually a follow on to the report I have previously posted.
We returned back to this hotel on December 27th 2005 (16 months after our 1st visit).
Unfortunately, in my opinion the hotel has been cutting costs and this showed greatly in our stay.
We were given a family room but was a smoking room, and they could not move us. It amazes me that people actually still smoke in hotel rooms especially if they have kids in with them too!!! We were also right above the restaurant so extremely loud and the humming of the fridges could be heard 24 hours.
Breakfast used to be a lovely buffet. Now they give you a tray as you enter the restaurant and it consists of a bread roll, mini pain au chocolat, mini croissant, carton of orange juice, cellophane pack of cheese and a portion of butter. You will pay 7 euros per person for this. We had it the first morning and did not bother after that.
The shuttle bus that took us to the parc was not in use, so we drove. Again, this was a bonus for staying at this hotel because of location and the fact that you could jump on the shuttle, but it seems not anymore.
The main reception area is still bright and welcoming, but the walls are grubby and floors in the stairwell and corridors were dirty and messy.
Rooms are tired looking and very basic. Our bathroom was clean, but paint is peeling off the walls and ceilings.
The staff on reception are friendly, but everyone else does not speak English, and even if you tried to have a chat they did not seem chatty back!
The restaurant was also not serving meals at night?
So all in all, not great. We departed a day early and would not return.
If you want a cheap basic hotel with a good Disney location then fine, but if you like your comforts and are picky on cleanliness stay away.
It is now worthy of it's 2* rating.

We have just returned from a 4 day stay at this hotel, and we were very impressed. The hotel Moulin de Paris is situated approx 1.5miles from Disneyland Paris. It is practically next door to the Movenpick & Holiday Inn resort. It is given a 2* rating, though I would say it is worthy of 3*. The hotel was 70 euros per room per night including breakfast and taxes. We booked a family room and had a comfortable double bed and bunkbeds. The bathroom contained toilet, sink and a shower area (no bath). It was very clean and our towels were changed every day and room serviced daily too by a jolly maid who did not speak any English but we got through our chats with hand signals !!
The dining room has both smoking and non smoking area. Breakfast is served 0700-1000 and dinner 1830-2200. Breakfast is continental and plenty of it. The waiting staff replenish food very quickly, and the huge warm pain au choclats are delightful. We also had a meal in the restaurant our first evening, and they offered a varied and reasonable menu for adults and children. Children are made welcome at this hotel.
The staff work hard to make your stay a pleasant one and the majority of them speak English. The hotel has bedrooms situated on 2 floors, and rooms at the back of the hotel overlook a huge field and then beyond that is Disney. Hotel runs a shuttle bus to the park on a daily basis. Every 15 minutes from 0900-1120 and then 1700-2315. Adult fare is 1.50 euro one way and the children are free. If you cannot get the shuttle there is a main bus stop outside the hotel and you can jump on the Number 34 which again can take you and return you to Disneyland.
The hotel is decorated in a style of typical Parisienne. There is an outdoor swimming pool and a small sauna room and gym. There is a large free secure car park.
The hotel does not offer any entertainment.
Moulin de Paris hotel was excellent for our stay in all aspects, especially cost and we would highly recommend it to families. We would also return without hesitation.
