Altona Hotel - the worst hotel I have ever stayed in- I echo the other report and wish, oh how I wish, I had read it first.
All that the previous correspondant says is true - dirty, smelly, fire doors propped open; dangerous wiring; radiators leaking; temperamental lift.
Inability of the staff to cope with more than 6 people in for 'breakfast' - 1/3 of a baguette, 1 croissant, a plastic cup of weak orange juice, 1 mediocre coffee served in the cellar.
Never even think about going there. Avoid like the plague

When the description said a beautiful 19th century building with many original features, I did not take it to mean it would look as if it hadn
