THE BEACHES ARE CLEAN BUT ACHARAVI IS MAINLY A SHINGLE BEACH

The entertainment was great and and greek night was fun fun fun !! The beach was amazing so clean and golden pure sand with the turquoise sea it looked beautiful! I would definately visit again!!! ( sorry if i spelt some words wrong)

The beach is not very good if you have got very young children. My children are 6 and 2 and I found the sea very rough and it got deep quite quickly. The beach is a bit like brighton beach except for the fact it is cleaner and the weather is better. You will need beach shoes to get in and out of the water.
The resturants are very good especially Valentines on the front. It is great sitting their in the evening watching the sun set.
There are lots of different resturants from ones which sell traditional greek food to those which are typical english bars.
If you want a really nice meal out try the Pump House, the steak there is fantastic but get there before 7 if you don't want to wait
We did not have a bad meal and none of our party had an upset tummy (which makes a change)
The mosquitoes are a nightmare here. We all got really bitten this year compared to last year in Crete.

Excellent choice of tavernas in the area. Majority of tavernas cheap and reasonable and a variety of different food available. This resort is a 30 minute walk to Roda if you fancied a change of scenery lots of English Bars there. Beach clean and lovely to swim in. Would definatley visit again.

Acharavi is a lovely place but quite small, 1 main street really, lots of tavernas and nice places to eat. Not a lot for clubbers, 1 nightclub and a couple of late bars but ample for us oldies, not that old though! We only went to the beach to see what it was like, not being beach bums, and it was ok. quite rocky though in parts. It has a good bus service to Roda and Corfu town if you get fed up staying in one place.We definately intend to go back in near future.Oh and very friendly locals!

we found acharavi a very relaxed resort which was ideal for what we were looking for acharavi park the pump house woodys were excellent places to eat and the people very friendly the beach was shingle which i do not really like but did not put people off

The resort was clean & tidy, with lots of interesting places to go for walks etc.
Only entertainment was in the restaurants , but that was never a problem, as it was a good place to go to.
Beach standard was clean & tidy, with lots of pebbles & shingles, but it did have good sand.
Only bad point was that we were bitten quite a lot by the dreaded mossies.
We would definately visit here again and we would recommend a visit for any one who wants peace & quiet.

Acharavi has lots of different places to eat whatever type of food you fancy. A lovely place we found was 'The Cosy Teapot' which served homemade cakes and is run by a lovely english lady. It is just off the main road near Ilo Ilo, and I would recommend it thoroughly!! There were lots of trips available and we went on a cruise to the islands of Paxos & Parga, which was absolutely fantastic. We went for a chill out week and found it an ideal holiday spot, it's also lovely for families with young children. Faros on the beach front was also a lovely place to eat and just gaze out to sea. The people are very friendly and the main supermarket was really well stocked with just about everything you need. We will certainly return to Acharavi and the Matoula appts

acharavi is lovely it is ideal if you are a family or you dont want the 18-30 type of hols . 2 minutes to your left of Matoula Apartments is the local beach, it’s a pebble beach but must say was lovely. To the right hand side of the apartments 5 minutes walk takes you to the strip area, lots of bars, restaurants there is a few very well stocked supermarkets you can get anything that you need from there ..
