Just back from another stay at Angelika's. Again superb with unbroken sunshine for two weeks. Spiros, Angelika and Maria do everything to make you feel welcome. The apartments are spotlessly clean and serviced every day except Sunday. The pool area is quiet and well maintained. The hotel bar and snack bar does a good range of reaonably priced food with a 'can-do' attitude to what you want and when you want it.
Greek night at the apartments is excellent value with great food and dancing from another Spiros and his daughter Katerina (who looks like Billy Piper!). Be prepared to join in!
I would recommend these apartments and resort to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. Top marks again!

Just returned from our 6th year in Agios and 3rd year running with Spiros , Angelica , Mama & family at the Angelika. Once again their excellent hospitality earns 11 out of 10. The hotel was spotless (as always), food excellent, and nothing is too much trouble to make you feel welcome. Met several people who had returned again both to Agios and the Angelika in particular. The location is ideal - a 10 minute stroll to the beach and Maria who runs the pool bar is ready with a large beer for you when you return.Rooms are very spacious with air conditioning, TV and safe, and pool never crowded. Spiros and Angelica are the perfect hosts and you become their friends the moment you arrive. Already booked for next year.

We have just returned from Agios Gordios, having spent our 4th summer here and are about to check out flights ready for next year too! (Ian we may see you again!) I can't praise this hotel and the staff highly enough (Spiros, Angelica, Aphrodite, Elena, Mama and Maria.) You can't help but return here once you have been fortunate enough to experience the hospitality and be treated so well by husband and wife team Spiros and Angelica. Maria who manages the bar area is so lovely, taking time and trouble to talk to the little ones as well as the adults, her English is excellent too.
If you have checked out the reviews then take the next step and book - you know it makes sense. All the reviews you will find about the Hotel Angelika/Angelica are absolutely spot on. From the time you arrive you are treated as one of the family. Nothing is too much trouble and Spiros speaks perfect English and is a mine of information.
The Angelica is set back from the resort square and has a very high standard of cleanliness. Angelica cooks exceptionally good evening meals, there are always 4 specials every evening including traditional Greek dishes, plus an excellent choice from the menu to suit all tastes. The weekly BBQ is not to be missed and some lively entertainment thrown in too, to suit adults and children. (Book in advance to avoid disappointment.) The pool area is a relaxing haven with comfortable canvas sun loungers surrounding the relaxing pool area, always plenty of room.
We stayed in one of the studios which is very well equipped should you want to cook or not. There is plenty of storage space and the rooms are extremely clean, spacious, very light and airy. The balcony has a table and chairs. We also had a sofa and coffee table in our room and TV to keep up with news from home. The bathroom is spic and span and is cleaned 6 days out of 7. Towels and linen are changed every other day. There is also a hairdryer provided too.
We found this year we didn't need air conditioning as our room was cool during the evening. But if you have a top floor room you will probably need to hire the remote control to activate the air conditioning system. There is also a safety deposit box for hire too.
Spiros provides customers with a shower room, which is very handy if you have a late departure. The reception area also has excellent toilet/hair drying facilities too.
This year was a lovely mix of nationalities British, Italian, Greek, German and Dutch. We met some lovely people again this year. (Hi Kate and Will.) You need to book direct with Spiros so check out his web site, which has some beautiful photographs not only of the hotel and pool but the resort too. When you drive down into the village on arrival the view is spectacular.
The Angelica is a real jewel in the crown. You will not be disappointed, we love it. Yeia mas!

This was truly excellent. Having holidayed in Crete and Cyprus in the past three years, Corfu and especially this resort was the best! If you want a lively lads or ladettes holiday, this is NOT for you. If you want a beautiful town, gorgeous beach and nice restaurants on the sea front, this IS for you.
The apartment were had (room 16), was modern, clean and serviced every day. Air conditioning was optional, but decent value at 5 Euros per day. The balcony was huge. The beds were comfortable (proper beds). There was a fridge, cooker (two rings and an oven) and ample kitchen storage and good range of utensils including a colander.
The owners (Angelika and Spiros) and staff were very friendly and always around. The bar food was very good, chicken souvlaki was excellent. The weekly Greek night and barbeque is not to be missed, excellent food and really good value.
The pool was a good size with free loungers and rarely crowded.
The apartments were up a hill and with steep steps down from the road, so maybe not suitable for the infirm.
Spiros, Angelika and staff. Yamos!
