there is about two bars near the hotel, 1 is called dirfters who rip you off and the other is greek who charge you £10 euro for 2 drinks.
there is a beach bar about 15 minutes walk called edam which is good but full of locals.
the beach was good with clean clear water and good water sports on offer e.g. bannana boat and parasailing.

In all fairness to the resort, we went at the start of the season and very little was open, just a few shops and bars - all being very expensive - but hey - that's the euro for you. Be careful crossing any road, traffic is scary! Because of the hotel and laid back resort, we would revisit.

Liked Dassia very much, although at the time we were there it was quiet (not a problem for us, we like it that way).

the resort was dassia which is quite small
stoney beaches need swim shoes or sandles to get to the sea without yelling ouch!, too many shops too many big hotels on beach front
not much in the way of local life. no villages or local markets close by.
corfu town was nice and the old fort was good to go around but the bus service was another experience.

me and my friend are 24 and we came to this resort hoping it would be a bit lively how wrong was we this resort is like a ghost town u have to go to the next resort called ipsos to get a bit of laugh and a bit of entertaiment! if you want to go to ipsos then you have to get a taxi which cost about 10euros!

Dassia is a lovely resort to stay in, plenty of shops, bars to visit and most of the people speek good english.
Hire a car and take a trip through the mountains excellent views. Dassia about 20 mins away from Corfu town by car only 10 mins away, very busy town but visit the Linton its the place to see and be seen. the locals gather there. only one prob there were a few people trying to sell you things every few mins!!

the resort of dassia is very tidy .
plenty of tavernas and shops to visit , no markets , no nightclubs , good bus service every 30 minutes .
the beach is very good , lots of water sports/bars/sunbeds etc all at a price but reasonable
the sea is very shallow out to about 25mtrs so is quite safe for young ones .
