We have just returned from Rebecca's after a 1 week stay. We arrived in the early hours on Saturday morning and was shown to our studio room, which was bigger than expected for a studio and would comfortably accommodate 4 people with the 2 single beds, cot bed and sofa bed provided.
The room was clean and had fresh sheets and towels provided. The room is cleaned and towels changed once per week but the beds are made and bins emptied every day. There is a TV room, bar and restaurant on site with specials offered everyday, we ate here a few times through the week and the food/service was good.
The pool area is clean although the pool itself was freezing and there were lots of wasps but you will find that it is like this all over Sidari! There is a tennis court which you have to pay to use but we did not use this. There is also supposedly a gym on site but we never saw this?
The aircon is priced at 5 euro's per day but we did not need this as it was cool at night. Security deposit boxes are available at 10 euro's per week.
For anyone with a night return flight I would recommend paying to keep the room on as you usually need to exit the room by 11am but 10 euro's will keep the room until 5pm or 20 euro's until departure, as we did. Do this as early on as possible though.
The bar will stay open "late" but the reception staff leave at 11pm and then there is just a guy who will give you your room key etc. The room keys have to be handed in when you leave the hotel.
The reception staff take your passports when you check in but these are placed in pigeon holes for your room behind the reception desk, which isn't always manned. They did give them to us to put in to the deposit box when we paid for it though.
The hotel is around 1km from the nearest beach, which is a sandy beach but has a lot of pebbles on, and around 2km from the resort centre and main beach which is a sandy beach. We walked this most days but I would recommend a taxi if you have small children or don't fancy the walk. The reception staff will call one for you for 30 cents and the taxi will cost 5 euro's to anywhere in Sidari.
The hotel do provide a free mini bus to the nearest beach which leaves at 11am and returns and 4pm.
I would definately recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Sidari as long as you don't mind the walk or taxi fares!
