Beaches

A village type atmosphere clean and tidy where the locals are very friendly. Lots of desent restaurants and pubs, even a club and prices are good too. The beaches are mainly shingle but the water is very clear and plenty to do. Great boat trips aboard the Erinoula and loads of coach trips around the island and Albania.

Kassoipi is a very friendly place, with a beautiful harbour which comes alive at night. There is something to appeal to everyone, and a good selection of restaurants and bars. Strofelia's and Janis are recommended.

Kassiopi offers all sorts for every age group.
You are spoilt for choice where to eat. We used The Three Brothers and Stofoli, we have been to Janis, but found it a bit pricey, I think you pay for the view, but if you want to people watch The Three Brothers is excellent for that.
The supermarkets were all about the same price, except for the one on the square which was a bit expensive.
We kept to local drinks as they were half the price or cheaper than imports.
Entertainment ranged from Greek nights to Karaoke!!
In the height of the season there is a foam disco, but can't comment on that as it was closed in May.
The shops are all a much of a muchness, but the shop assistants treat you like long lost friends.
There is a shop on the way to the three beaches run by Irenee, and I can honestly say she remembered us from three years ago and she commented on a sarong I had bought there. So maybe they do mean it when they great you as if they have known you for years.
The three beaches are not the sandy type, wrong side of the med for that, the water was clear but chilly.
The restaurant at the top wasn't yet open, too early in the season for us. We were a bit miffed as we love having lunch there and looking out over the sea and people watching.

A little gem. Four tavernas, two bars, a very well stocked supermarket, a couple of boat-hire businesses and scenery.
OK, the beach isn't golden sand, but that would just attract too many tourists.

A realy nice place for adults. Please dont take little ones. All the pools we found were too deep even in the baby pool at 75cm. The beach is too rocky for kids to play. Had some lovely trips on one of the boats to a nearby sandy beach which was great and the kids could walk out for miles. Lovey people, lovely food, would def go back but with no kids!
