we went to the resort(s) of messonghi and moraitika this year (2004) and we thought it was lovely. the resort was clean and everyone we met was so friendly.
we felt the beach was a bit of a let down, because although it wasn't shingle it was not like the sand that we know it was very hard and our 3 year old struggled to play with it, other than that it was fine. the beach and the sea were very clean.
every where we went we were made to feel so welcome like we were long lost friends and we had popped round for a drink and a chat. we were so impressed with the place and the lovely people that we are going back next year to see all of our new friends!

The resort is only one main road and a little village,very quiet,some good restaurants and cafes. Especially the first cafe you come to when you turn right out of the hotel grounds great full of English.

Everything was very clean, entertainment was really bad in the night but throughout the day was very good. The beach had plenty of water sports and trampolines and things on the water, plenty of things for adults and children to do
Corfu is really nice. We enjoyed the island and the people. Really nice food and great wine.
