As we visited late in the season we didnt see the resort at its best. Many bars & shops were closed.A generalfeeling of a ghost town really. We werent keen on the walk to get into the town either. There are no footpaths and you have to walk at the side of the poorly lit road.Although during the day we walked to town along the beach which was pleasant. The actual beach is a narrow strip of coarse shingle We enjoyed our stay and would possibly go again.

Moriatika was very quiet socially. Roads very busy and noisy, and dangerous especially for children, no pavements and the motorist gets priority

Moraitika was a small resort which is very rundown and not particulary lively with very little variety where restaurants are concerned.

Resort was as we expected. Local people very friendly and helpfull.
Entertainment was there if you required it but it all you wanted was a quiet meal and drink this was also available.
Most of the beach was pebbles so would recommend beach shoes.
We would vist the resort again

The resort itselfs, which was approximately 400 metres from the hotel along a very busy road with no footpath or lights was okay. We found food and drink reasonably priced in a number of bars, but as we were supposed to be all inclusive, we should not have needed to find these on such a regular basis.

Food was ample and of a good variety. The kids ate plenty which is very rare on holiday. Didn't like the fact that haldf pints were served and ice cream on for 1 hour per day for the kids!
Clenliness was spot on in the rooms, more effort could be spent on keeping the wasps away by fumigating more often.
Views are fantastic the road which splits the hotel in half is a nightmare as it sits on a bend, apparently a bridge is going to be built although none of the staff seem to think so. Just run and hope.
Entertainment staff try hard but get boring after about 2 hours. Bar staff never smiled once. Horrible .
I wouldn't visit it again the wasps are unbearable and I think myself lucky that I never got stung as most people we spoke to had been or knew someone who had.

I wasn't all that impressed with Moraitika. There are a lot of shops selling the usual traditional Greek gifts (READ 'hilarious' Rastafarian styled ashtrays and fake t-shirts), and a handful of bars which looked ok (didn't try any of them).
The beach isn't great, but the water's lovely.

Didn't go into the main resort very much having two young children but found a wonderful restaurant on the outskirts of Moraitika
