Location
We have been visiting Agios (San) Stefanos (with Thomson then TUI) every year since 2001 (twice or three times a year) and The Little Prince was the first restaurant we ever ate in.
This (2019) year we booked to stay at The Little Prince twice, July and September through TUI.
At the July holiday with TUI we had a very bad experience with one of the co-owners, Dimitris Mousakitis Kapovitsos whom I have known for 18 years.
On our last day in July, as we were waiting with our cases to depart, I spoke to Dimitris and politely requested he try to allocate a room in a similar location for our upcoming holiday in September, his reply was "I'VE GOT BETTER FRIENDS THAN YOU AND BETTER CUSTOMERS" these words coming from a man I have known for 18 years. I was gobsmacked and extremely offended and sad.
It appears that this very rude Greek man expects all hotel guests to use his restaurant all the time to supplement his income. It's just not possible given the vast amount of restaurants in the village.
The other co-owner Mihalis Mousakitis Farlis (Mike) who runs the sucessful Little Prince Bar is a complete gentleman.
On a happier note, the TUI rep, Panagiota (Giota) is a wonderful woman, very pleasant, friendly, happy and extremely helpful, 5 stars for her.
As we had already booked the September holiday we had little option but to travel. Clearly the atmosphere was very frosty.
Will we ever return to Agios (San) Stefanos or use TUI again? Probably not.
TUI, I would suggest that you have a word with this rude and impolite man before both he and TUI lose more custom from this hotel.
For TUI information and to athenticate our holidays:
Little Prince Hotel:
July Booking ref = 8935119
September booking ref 8681556
I have based the star rating (one) soley on this disgraceful incident.

Hotel tip: Do not ask the co-owner Dimitris for a good room, you will probably get the same response as I did.

The food in the Taverna below the studios is probably the best in San Stefanos and that is saying something.
The owners and Staff are magic and can't do enough for you. The rooftop pool and surrounding area is clean and quiet, safe area for children
The location is central,5 mins to the beach,100 mtres to the bakery and Supermarket.
During your meal at the little prince you are entertained with excellent greek dancing by the waiters.
I would not hesitate to recommend this accomodation, and I will definitely go back there in 2008. My wife and I loved every minute of our holiday, the best we have had in Corfu, and we have been going to Corfu fo 20 years

Although we stayed self catering the appartments have their own taverna in which we ate every night. The food was amazing with a good variety of choice. There were daily specials which were exceptional value and the place was always busy.
Dimitri and his family and staffand Mike made us really welcome and we felt we had made some good friends.
The nightly entertainment came after the main rush of serving meals and was included at varios times during the rest of the night, which meant you didn't have to watch it all at one time.
The apartments were quite central to the village with supermarkets, tavernas, gift shops and a small agency that organises excursions to other parts of Corfu and arrange car hire. A short walk takes you to the beach which is a lovely bay, very safe for children and has some good value beach tavernas for lunch.
We can't wait to go back in June to see the friends we made there. Dimitri, Mike and everyone there genuinely are concerned that you are enjoying your holiday.
