All rooms are clean and tidy. Food is great and breakfast is either full English with cereal and fruit juice, Greek breakfast or just toast and coffee. The swimming pool is large and spotless with plenty of sunbeds. Location is close to everything you need in Sidari.

Sidari and Canal d'Amour make up a small resort with many bars, restaurants and shops. There are a few empty properties about, probably due to the state of the Greek economy, but there is something for most types of traveller here. The main strip in Sidari is full of bars, clubs and restaurants, while the outskirts have many more traditional tavernas. The buses to Corfu Town and to Roda, Acharavi and Kassiopi are cheap but modern and comfortable, though if you use them make sure you are fully acquainted with the timetable because there may be a long wait if you miss one.
The beaches are great for all ages and tend to be gently sloped.
The accomodation is mainly basic but clean with good service so it makes a great base for exploring, especially as the North end of the island seems to have the most dramatic scenery.

Sidari is very English. Every other building is a bar or restaurant, serving both Greek and English dishes. Plenty of entertainment. Gift shops are poor. Items for sale are cheap and tacky. Reminded me a lot like Blackpool!
Some of the pavements have broken slabs with sharp edges. My daughter stumbled on one and cut her leg. The sewers sometimes emit foul odours.
The beach was raked every day to remove rubbish and seaweed. Lovely sand, plenty of loungers and umbrellas. The sea slopes very gently, and you have to walk quite a distance if you like to swim! Every bar has a beach terrace which is very convenient!
We visited slightly out of season and it was nice, but I imagine it gets very busy and crowded during the main summer months. I would recommend staying in Sidari.

Sidari has something for everyone. You can choose from a quiet taverna to a night club, and everything in between. There are at least half a dozen places that have live entertainment on every night, some of them are suprisingly good. There is no shortage of restaurants and bars and the ones we went in were reasonably priced.

Sidari has little to offer other than tribute acts. Freddie Mecury, Rod Stewart, Robbie Williams and Lady Gaga are everywhere until 12ish. After that there are two or three clubs for older teenagers. Sidari has nothing to offer younger children.
There only two or three restaurants worth a second visit, The Family, a traditional greek taverna which does the best sorfrito in Sidari, and Pizza Romana, behind the Church, where the pizzas are all made to order in the wood burner.
The beaches are OK, and all the usual watersports are on offer, but at quite a high price.
The tourist offices all offer the same trips, at various prices - ask around to get the best deal.
You can't visit Corfu without experiencing a boat trip or two.
The East Coast Cruise is not to be missed, you will see lots of lovely beaches, have a swim off the back of the boat and the crew even prepare a bbq with wine on board. However, don't confuse this trip with the similar sounding "Paleokastritsa Beach BBQ". This is a very short (20min) cruise to a wasp infested beach with no shade, where the boat leaves you for 3 and a half hours. You have no hope of enjoying the food as the wasps really are everwhere. Having said that, the sea here is crystal clear, but not suitable for kids, as it's very stony, and gets very deep very suddenly.

Sidari has got just the right mix of different things. you've got plenty of bars but they are not in your face like some resorts. restaurants are a plenty with some gorgeous views from the beachside locations to eat while the sun goes down. canal d'amour is a must to see-amazing photos.the beach is fairly clean, could be cleaner what with cigarette nub ends in the sand, hasn't changed my view of the place though. will be definately be going again next year.

If your idea of Greece is Blackpool with sunshine and feta then Sidari will suit you. It is a long way to travel to find a Red Lion pub and a Build Your Own Butty Bar! You will never be short of a full english breakfast or have to miss your favourite soap or footy match but is that why you are in Corfu? Be prepared to hire a car, bike or walk a few miles in any direction to find authentic Corfu (it is there). Sidari is well stocked with bars, tavernas and shops but be picky and bring earplugs if you want a quiet drink. Such a shame that a beautiful spot has catered for the lowest common denominator. Good beaches and activities but I reiterate this is not the best of Corfu
