My new wife and I spent our honeymoon at sensatori resort in June we thoroughly enjoyed it was what the doctor ordered 2 week sof lazing around with a little bit of footie in between (when the wife let me ha).
The rooms are out of this world we had champagne on arrival, a jaquzzi bath a powered shower, king sized bed flat screen tv WOW we had pool and sea views and had ground level which is very handy when you want to go back and for to your room from the sun lounger.
The food was good although did get repetitive,(what hotel doesnt)the mexican restaurant was nice.
The entertainment was live but singing all the time no variety of acts. The cleaners worked around the clock to keep the hotel clean and it was spotless!! The resort was huge! and right on the beach which is ideal! Take a walk along the front and have a few drinks down the pub

Lovely Hotel just teething problems ,, slippy pool areas ,, flooding in bathrooms / showers /.. expensive drinks at bars ,, and poolside bar too !!! food a bit on the repative side!! but lovely presented .. just our view would of been better for all inclusive .. didnt get told at Thompson either that it is a cash frre enviroment a swipe card is used throughout !!! and pay at the end of your holiday ,, which could work out expensive for famillies ,,

Not a 5* hotel yet, maybe in a couple of years.
Lots of teething problems. When booked to full capacity facilities indequate ie restaurants, pool area. Staff severely under pressure so are not able to do their jobs up to standard.

A hotel that has potential to be quite good but is not at present. Alot of teathing problems which have resulted in alot of upset people who feel a bit cheated that they were sold a holiday making them believe on something that infact it was not, such as completed, nice beach, 5 star deluxe, nice food, and all you could wish for and more as our travel agent quoted. I travelled with my family streching our annual holiday budget and quite frankly i made a big mistake. I have learned not to visit a hotel that is brand new again.

Staff excellent especially room attendant.food good but very expensive to eat in the extra resteraunts,drinks way to expensive,we found ourselves going out to the bars which was'nt our original intention.Very dangerous underfoot throughout the entire complex and pool dedicated to adults was 0.75metres{knee deep}.Very dissapointing ovrerall cosidering the cost.

This is a brand new hotel thats covered in slippery ceramic tiles there were more than 15 accidents whilst we stayed there as the staff continued to mop these walkways leaving them like ice rinks.
The food is repetative and certainly not of 5 star plus. Added to the fact that the majority of the serving staff speak little or no English meal times were very unpleasent.
The british staff were unhelpful and constantly appologetic, however for the adults entertainment could be classed as sufficient.
The hotel is situated across from a tardy not child friendly beach but the island of crete is beautiful and the people outside this hotel are so lovely its just a shame they don't get the oppurtunity from that unsafe sheep in wolves clothing they call Sesatori.

Superb hotel and excellent value for money, the hotel was spotless and the rooms cleaned daily to a high standard. Swim out suites are amazing - if you get a good location!
Staff are very polite and efficient, the food was improving as the holiday developed and the Taverna is excellent. The entertainment was fair but not west end standard.The pools are amazing and varied, with lots of options for children. Undoubtedly the best Family oriented 5 star hotel that we have stayed in.
We would recommend the hotel to any family that want something special - just don't expect the Bahia del Duque it is a Thomson Holiday!

hotel was first class as was the staff. location was good for getting to different places. was told it was mostly for adults but found this untrue. had the the sunbed grabbers out real early but this was controlled very well by hotel staff.food in all the resturants was very good the first week and turned poor, repetitive the next. would go back but ask for a room that was not next to a room with a pool as the airiator makes one hell of a noise in your room after evaporation. we were there when it first opened and would think small teething problemes will be ironed out
