We loved the Elounda Ilion. It was quiet, none of the usual 'nonsense, audience participation entertainment' just music played in the bar. People actually talked to each other out on the veranda overlooking the ocean and small islands including Spinalonga. It was walking distance to town if you wanted to stroll and eat out. Local bus or taxi to Agios Nicholaos where it's a little more lively perhaps if that's what you like.
