Klio Apartments are ok, the rooms are very standard, if you go for 2 weeks are you will need air conditioning and a safety box key if will cost you 100 euro's, drinks are about average 3 euro's a pint 2 euro's coke, fanta.etc, it's only a couple of minutes walk to the beach. the supermarket at Klio is abit more expensive than the other around. when the cleaner does come round she will only mop the floor, nothing else, you have to but your own toilet rolls, and the shower does not have a hook, you have to shower with one hand. Rimi is a good guy at the bar as people said, but he his doing his job. the daft thing about Klio is The reception, it's a joke, if you arrive before 3 in the afternoon you can get seen if not tough wait until the next day, it opens between 8. 30am and 3pm. most of the flights are in after 3 or the early hours of the morning, the airport rep will show you where you room is. the pool area is very nice and pool snacks are good, it does get very hot around the pool and be warned you will hear the crickets day and night, the last thing is the planes goes over Gouves all the time so if you have your window open you diffently hear the planes day and night everyday.

my wife and I arrived at the klio apartments late in the evening and with no-one on reception the barman showed us to our room. The room was large, clean with twin beds, large balcony which had the sun in the afternoon. There was a two ringed cooker, kettle, fridge and very basic crockery and cutlery. The toilet was clean with sink and the usual greek shower. The water was always hot.
There was air conditioning and a safe, both payable at reception. The air-con was a must as temperature was mid 30's.Although self catering there was a restaurant with a good selection. We ate breakfast twice the food was adequate. The klio was 300 - 350 metres away from the beach with a charge of 6 euros for 2 beds and parasol. There are plenty of tavernas along the beach where we ate in the day and evening.
The hotel staff that we dealt with were friendly and most helpful. There was karaoke some nights,a large tv and a bar which was well used. There is a pool for adults and a smaller one for children and a pool bar. There is a supermarket alongside which we found reasonable and there was an offer of a free Klio t-shirt if you spent 100 euros during the week or longer. We would definitely visit the klio again mainly because of the location,a short distance from the beach, the same to the main road and only a little further to the main street.Gouves is mostly flat but a slight gradient to the main road.

After reading a number of recent reviews leading up to our stay at the Klio Apartments in Gouves, my boyfriend (20) and I (18) were more than wary of what would be waiting for us when we arrived.
The apartments where very tidy, yet modern. Our room was immaculate and everything was incredibly clean from the bathroom through to the balcony area and well looked after, with new furnishings too.We received clean sheets and towels every 3 days even though we only stayed for a week.
Air con was a must as it was very close on a night and aircraft noise could be heard noisily if you had windows and doors open

These apartments are basic and clean ,nice bar area and pool.
The staff were friendly no entertainment but we did go in October.
They had a restaurant and bar snacks which were good and reasonably priced.
These apartments were quite a walk from centre of resort, not much around to do apart from the beach we would not go again 2 weeks here is far too long our children were bored. The resort of Gouves was too quiet for us, we spent most of our days travelling to other resorts. The weather was rotten as well, the second week we had rain and thunderstorms every day and several power cuts.
