Imperial Belvedere Hotel is a fantastic hotel and ideal for families. We stayed in a ground floor family room which was right next to the kids swimming pool. The pool had a good play area for them to splash about in.
The restaurant had a great choice of dishes including local and international food. The drinks were all good. here was evening entertainment which seemed to be quite good and the kids loved the mini disco.
The complex is located on the top of a hill so it it a bit of a hike back up especially if you have a buggy.
All in all a good holiday was had.

We have just come back from the Imperial Belvedere. After being a bit dubious about the reviews we still decided to book and go at the end of May. We arrived after the flight being slightly delayed at 1.30 am with 2 young and tired children (2 & 4) to be greeted by a smiley receptionist who kindly checked us in.
I asked if there was water in the room in the mini-bars only to be told they were empty and water was not provided, not a good start, he did proceed very quickly and kindly to get me 3 small bottles of water free of charge for the children to have until we could get to the shop in the morning.
We were then shown to our room. The rooms were very spacious and had 3 single beds in one room and a double bed in another room as well as a balcony/terrace. The family rooms are all located around the massive children’s swimming pool, so for us this was absolutely ideal.
As we were there the first week of the season the food was very much the same for lunch and dinner every day, not a lot to choose from. The drinks on the All Inclusive package were slightly misleading. You could have beer, wine, ouzo, brandy or whiskey, any other spirit you had to pay for even the local spirits. You were not allowed under any circumstances to fill up a bottle with water and you had to have it by the glass. The sunbeds around the pool were free of charge unless you wanted a cushion for it which was charged by the day as were the pool towels.
The entertainment programme was not really anything to write home about. The children’s entertainment in the evening was very good and both my children loved getting up and joining in. There were a few adults’ games afterwards but all was finished by 9. We arrived on the Saturday evening, on the following Thursday everything seemed to change, the choice of food in the restaurant suddenly had a theme to it and the evening entertainment was very good. The following day the animation team could be found all over the complex getting guests to participate in the activities.
The hotel is located at the top of a hill which is fine if you don't have walking difficulties. It’s fine to get down, just slightly steep to climb back up, but not a major issue.
All in all we had a lovely relaxing holiday and the kids enjoyed the pool and kids’ activities. Would just advise to go further on in the season rather than at the beginning.
