Have just returned from 7 days at the Nana Beach All Inclusive Resort.
The grounds that this hotel is set in are wonderful and very spacious, you cannot fault the grounds and the space for sun bathing. You can be in the midst of all the activities or disappear off onto a small cove of your own overlooking the sea for a relaxing time.
Unfortunately I cannot agree with all previous comments made as we were very disappointed wuth the choice and variety of food. It was fine if you like chips with everything but the meals were very samey and you could also see the same for dinner as you had from lunch. Having stayed in a lot of AI hotels, I have to say this is one of the poorest.
Also our room was damp and freezing cold and there was no heating facilities so therefore slept with 3 blankets on each bed and had to purchase socks to wear in bed too!! You don't expect this in a hot foreign country!! The rooms were very basic and you couldn't swing a cat in the bathroom or on the balcony.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and assisted with all requests we made in a prompt and professional manner.
The entertainment was very much centred around the germans, with their being a separate amphitheatre for them and an international one for everyone else. I thought this was very poor. Also there is no english flag outside the hotel but all other nationalities. Strange.
I think that if these small minor issue's were resolved and there was a small refurb maybe it would be worth a visit but otherwise I don't intend to return in the near future.

Location idyllic everything all in one place.
Kids club excellent our son aged 4 loved the friendly entertainment staff.
We visited the spa twice only 5 euro's and only a small amount of guests are allowed in at any one time which keeps it relaxing & private.
Lots of shows indoor and outdoor in the amphitheatre from 80's night to abba to aladdin. Shame a lot of commentary in German as there was a large number of German guests. We got the impression that British guests have not been going to this hotel for long, hence us writing the review- we hope to change that.
Free water sports, beach with loungers, plenty of pools & loungers for all. My partner & Dad fished on the harbour (also part of the hotel).
Stalis is a 15 min walk away, Hersonisso's 45 mins or short taxi ride.
Food varied with themed nights, a la carte excellent but book to avoid disappointment. No extra cost it is all inclusive remember! Buffet restaurant also excellent, freshly cooked omeletes & pancakes at breakfast!
My son was 4 whilst we were there hotel could not do enough cake, flowers & champagne laid out on our table.
Fantastic hotel/resort would definitely return!

i stayed in this hotel with my family for a week.
there were so many people i traveled with, all with different interests and expectations of the hotel, however, the hotel certainly provided something for everybody. water sports for my dad and grandad, sunbeds for my mum, nan, me and our friend and for me and my brother the pools were amazing!
the food was the best food i have ever experianced in a hotel. so much choice and variets of greek, english
and german food. they aslo had themed nights in the restaurants. a great amnosphire in the restaraunts and your glass was never empty!
staff were friendly and helpfull in every way. there was a little shop there where you could buy lilo's and floats for all of the 5 pools they have there and also you can buy sovenirs.
the rooms were lovely and clean and the bathrooms were huge.
everything was lovley and im trying to persuade my mum to go again.

We decided to take the whole family away on a special holiday. Including our 2 yr old son. We were particularly excited about all the pools, kids clubs and the vast selection of food on offer.
The hotel was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
All the rooms were cleaned daily, although some were in need of a re-paint but nothing major!
The pools were fantastic, safe, clean and warm. I even got the father in law into the pool!
The food was good, a wide range of choice. even the day time snack bar was lovely. Lunch by the pool was great quality too. Do be aware that the Italian and Greek restaurants were generally all booked up, so may visitors missed out.
The train into the town is a good service, very reliable. To walk it would take a good 30 minutes and the dirt track is dangerous with lots of fast moving cars. No supermarkets nearby and bottled water is NOT All Inclusive!!
The one let down to our holiday was the entertainment and the Kids club. What Thomson failed to tell us was that it was a German entertainment team. Therefore everything was in German, even the notice boards. This really spoilt our enjoyment, and the entertainment team made no effort to include the British at all. We were however totally out numbered by 200 to 12.
A real shame, if the entertainments team / Kids Club had of been in English this would have been a perfect Holiday.

Well I have just returned from my Honeymoon at Nana Beach. Myself and my Husband our in our early twenties and we took our little boy who is two.
We really enjoyed our Holiday but as we only went for a week our only regret was not staying for two.
There are loads of pools so no fighting over sunbeds and parasols.
The food was lovely although we didn't eat at the restaurants the buffet style restaurant was fine for us.
The drinks during the day were self service and the same in the restaurant so were ice creams etc. On a night time bar staff came on.
Instead of just having one German team for entertainment they now have a international team as well who can speak English. Although the entertainment is in other languages including English it's still great fun. We watched two shows whilst there that the amination team did (grease and hunchback of Notredarm) they were fab. My little boy loved the mini disco every night at 9pm.
The room was lovely and it was a nice travel cot they gave us for our son.
Because we weren't getting picked up until midnight we asked if we could keep our room on which they did let us do for 40euros (we didn't find out weather we could keep the room or not until the night before because they had to check availability).
We did meet a few other English families and some Dutch families as well.
I would love to go back to this hotel.

We stayed at the Nana beach resort for 11 days. As an all inclusive resort it had everything to offer from fitness, archery, football, basketball, beach volleyball, all sorts something for everyone including water sports.
The resort on the large side is kept immaculate from the beach to the pools and rooms are all kept clean and tidy through out the day and night.
Food you never go hungry thats' for sure. Breakfasts lunches and dinners by the beach are all in abundance and I am sure there is something there for everybody's tastes, and if you miss a meal there are snackbars around the pools, along with 3 ala carte restaurants which you can eat in Greek, fish and Italian it was fantastic.
All the staff can not do enough to help you and most speak good English.
We walked to Hersonisos and Stalis from the hotel, Hersonisos taking about half for Stalis some what nearer about 20mins, although we never got a taxi the buses are superb all air conditioned coaches and it cost 2 euros from the hotel to Malia.
Yes I would go back maybe in a few years I had a great time and recommend the resort. The only thing you will probably read is the hotel is mainly German, this did not bother us at all and the entertainment is for all nationalities and the Greek night was great singing dancing and smashing plates.
Over all a really great holiday.

This hotel was kept in immaculate condition. The rooms were simple but neverless clean and had spectacular views. We stayed in the beach bungalows which had fantastic views over the terrace and out to sea. The sea was great we spend many an hour using the water sports facilities and snorkeling. The kids loved the sandy beach.
The food was very good but became slightly repetitive during the second week, nevertheless we filled our boots! Occasional queueing at outside bar but you never had to wait for long.
Staff very friendly and helpful and fantastic with the children.
Entertainment was rubbish but very amusing to watch Germans mime and look like fools! We made our own entertainment.
We were a family group of mixed ages and found there was something for everyone.
Will definitely be revisiting soon!!!
