Location
The room was cleaned daily and fresh towels were put in the adequate bathroom, the cleaning staff were very friendly.
The food plentiful and varied each day, the deserts being a Greek speciality went down well.
Unlike other people that stayed in this hotel we did not have a Gold wrist band so the drinks were very limited, Raki, Ouzo or Beer.
Not being people who get up early we decide to give the Breakfasts a miss and made do with Toasties and Coffee from the snack Barth's were a god send after staying up late each night.
The swimming pools were very good and there was no need to fight for the sunbeds as there was plenty of space for everyone.
The entertainment was aimed more at the German visitors than the English, although they did try to involve everyone that showed an interest.
I would definitely go back to this hotel but with only 3 people max staying in one room.

Our two young children aged 3 and 1 were given loads of attention by the staff and guests alike. There were several nationalities together and all were very friendly.
The reception staff and cleaners were especially helpful and friendly. The food was good, although I would recommend going to nearby restaurants up in the hills a few times to brake the monotomy.
Especially recommend to families with kids as the 'clown pool' is great for the younger one's.

The food was good, although became a bit 'samey' by the end of the two weeks. There could have been a bit more choice for the children. Some days there was a shortage of seating in the dining room.
Every morning there was a rush to 'save' sunbeds. Some days people did not even turn up to use their 'saved' sun beds. The swimming pools (7) were very good.(No life guard)

However this was short lived as the superior bungalow we were expecting had been double booked and we given a room in the hotel building with no chance of changing rooms as the hotel was fully booked. The room was small and a bit cramped when fully occupied (not at all like the ones pictured on the web-site).
Once accustomed to the accommodation we began to relax and enjoy our holiday and found the bars and food very good.
Overall the holiday was quite good but beware that if any damage is caused accidentally to the hotel furnishings you will be required to pay for them.
An accident occurred during our stay and we were asked to pay 250 euros for the damage. Rather a lot for a little table. The advice from our rep was that our son should have run away and not been so honest.
If like us you are bringing your children up correctly then keep them on a short leash (advice from the reception staff).

The only thing, pipes from under the floor were left 12 inches in the air and covered with masking tape, one set in the bathroon and another set by the bed, once you got used to them your forgot they where there, the apartment had not been updated and paint was peeling from the ceiling and around the bed surround and dressing table.
The bath was rusty and the shower had to be hand held because there was no hook or slot for it to hang from. I had to share a small double bed with my 12 year old daughter, who whilst in the land of nod, was playing for a football team.
Location of the hotel was lovley, the gardens well kept. By the pool was not a clean as it could have been, the food ok, very repetative, not enough for the children, more choice needed.
The hotel staff very pleasant and helpful, the amination team very good. I'm not sure if would go back to that hotel again.

The food was good and you could always get a salad the sweets were fantastic.
Swimming Pools were great and the entertainment was okay, they worked very hard and did not pressurise you to join in.
All in all I would recommend this hotel to any family.

Stayed at the Royal last two weeks in August along with my wife and my son. The Reception is very ornate and grand and gives the illusion of a very posh hotel.
Booking in was quick and painless and we were given out all-inclusive gold wristbands.
On getting in the tiniest of elevators we got to our room on the 4th floor. It was clean and we had a sea view, which I like as in the late afternoon I like to come back to the room and while the wife gets a shower I sit on the balcony drinking a few pints and eating some feta cheese and dips taking in the view.
The room was a tad small for three but we got by. The bathroom was clean and in good order with all fixtures and fittings working fine. Could have done with an extractor fan for steam but if that

Food was brill plenty of choices, cooked Greek style which we liked. Lots of different meat and fish choices and plenty for vegetarians. The Greek deserts were delicious.
There was very few English people mainly German, Dutch and French some Poles but everyone got along.
No hassle getting sunbeds there are loads, you do have to pay 1.50 euro for soft cushion to put on sunbed, but nearly everyone used their towels.
Room was exactly as described to us, family room had two bedrooms, one family bathroom and another separate toilet. Main room had double bed and a single bed (bed settee), second room had two single beds. Maid service everyday. Room had fridge, remote control air conditioning, hairdryer, tele, but no tea making facilities, good job I took travel kettle!!
The choice of drinks was limited to local brand spirits and beer and lovely cocktails, can recommend the Pina Colada! All of which could be obtained all day/night. Snack bar by pool served snacks, drinks and ice cream during day. Could have done with similar snack bar during evening after main meal, (after 9.30) got peckish during evening couldn

Maids kept the room clean and changed the linen frequently.
Plenty of varied dishes at meal times, fresh and plentiful.
Lots of different swimming pools to use.
The staff were very friendly apart from one barman at the kiddies pool bar in the evenings, he had an attitude problem (you will see what I mean if he is still there).
Mixture of holidaymakers i.e. Dutch, German, French, Italian and British.
Lots of nice families there. An enjoyable holiday.
