Kokkini Hani os a quiet family resort, everyone was very friendly and there is a good bus service, some excellent restuarants.

Kokkini itself looks a little run down, but still has what most people look for,a few bars some resturants, and a good scattering of tourist shops, thereis a very good supermarket with a.t.m and sub post office.

We found the bar at the sunset great fun lors of fun nights like cocktail party, greek night and bar-b-q [really fab food, shouldnt be missed] curry night and karaoki, all ages joined in as the bar has some thing for every one.

All in all we will go back again..first class..

kokkini chani is one main road but still with enough bars cafes and restaurants,as well as shops to keep a family entertained.you can also get a bus cheaply and quickly into the neighbouring resorts of gouves(livelier and more going on) hersonnisses(very cosmopolitanand much busier)or heraklion (where all your main shopping can be done and a beautiful harbour)

A very quite resort definately more for family's than those craving lots of entertainment. The bars and restaurants looked clean and staff seemed friendly.

There where a number of gift shops selling reasonabily priced item's. It was easy to get buses to other resorts and into Heraklion.

The beach was clean and beautifully sandy, although in some places very narrow.

I would certainly come to this resort again but not with my teenage son who found the resort a little dull.

The hotel is about 1km from Kokini Hani which isnt an inspiring place. We didnt leave the hotel much because it was so good, but we did venture out on the local buses (which are excellent- clean, efficent, regular, very comfortable and relatively cheap) to Heraklion & other places. Went to water park which was so much fun.

The resort itself is really designed for families who enjoy entertainment that you can go out and find as well as the animation team at the hotel, it is not bustling with people and definely wasnt a great deal of nightlife, i enjoy the tranquility and quiet life but obviously if i wanted enterainment i could go find it, the resort itself contains lots of shops selling gifts, souveneirs and clothing that are reasonably priced .. overall crete is a beautiful place and i would definetly return

Not a lot happening anywhere in the resort, as it was only the middle of May{apparently that is low season} whatever, there is also a lot of graffiti everywhere in the resort.

Although the people in the shops were very friendly, apparently a lot of the hotels have gone all inclusive and that has taken a lot of the trade away from the smaller bars and shops. It is a shame because it would be a lovely place if there was a little more going on.

The beaches are lovely and sandy but can get a bit rough sometimes

The resort itself was average. It was generally clean.

There were a number of tourist shops and some bars and restaurants on the main road outside of the Rinela. However im not sure that there would be enough choice for people who were self catering for a week or two in this resort.

The beach was again average - it was a nice beach and was clean but it wasnt the best beach I have ever seen.

The resort outside the hotel could do with a bit work on the pavements etc as they can be very dangerous not suitable for wheelchair users. Also tidy it up a bit.The only beach we used was the hotel beach which was nice overall but not 5 star. And the resort itself has no night life at all.

A quiet resort with a few tasteful bars of which a couple of them clain to be dancing bars. Entertainment appears to be mainly TV football at this time of the year. Beach is very clean and activities are varied.
