The El Komi hotel in Malia, Crete is unbelievable, all the staff are unhelpful, hostile and seem to hate english tourists.
The rooms are dirty, unsafe, with loose wires hanging from walls and feel pretty much like a prison cell. The beds collapse at the slightest of movement. There wasn't so much as a fan in the rooms, and there was no real ventilation.
The breakfast actually had mould growing on it and whatever was not eaten one day would be served up the next.
We had most of our belonings go missing even though we took extra care to lock everything away, and ended up keeping our stuff with us at all times, and tried to only use the hotel if we had too!
It was appalling!
