This hotel was a roach factory and the room was basic to say the least. Do not stay here!!

My husband and myself went to Crete for our honeymoon we stayed at the Meleisa apartments. I am shocked at some reviews I have read.
Ok there is no entertainment but your in Malia there is plenty around.
This is apartments it is not a all inclusive package.
All the staff where very helpful and lovely genuine people especially James from the bar.
The only thing I could fault is the showers they are at a very poor standard the rooms are ok but on honeymoon sleeping in single beds not ideal. We had a great balcony with a great view the gardens in apartments are terrific.
The pool was a fair size and there was plenty sun loungers
All in this is a excellent apartment will be going back for sure there is nothing to loose going to this apartment you will have a great time and your next to Malias hot spots.

The Melissa apartments are a really good base for anyone looking for the nightlife as it was just around the corner from the top of beach road.
The food at the hotel was lovely, plenty to choose from and it was quality and was cooked on order.
