This was by far the most pleasant accommodation that I have ever used on a Greek Island holiday and I have been on many.
The rooms were very well decorated to a high standard and kept spotlessly clean.
There are two accommodation blocks, one near the pool/bar and one a little further removed.
The pool block is less suitable for a quiet holiday due to it's location.
The rooms have a/c which can be set to warm the room. This was useful in early May.
Can't fault it. Check out Tito at the pool bar. He makes everything happen with a smile.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Parthenis Palace.
It was perfectly situated near enough to the resort center but it was still nice and quiet. We relaxed by the pool each day as the bar was very well run by a nice guy called Tito. They provided excellent snacks and in order to relax we didn't feel the need to go anywhere else. Tito gave us good advice about eating places to try in the evenings.
The place was well kept, clean and tidy. We would be happy to recommend it to anyone.

Parthenis Palace is excellent in my opinion. Although it is self catering I have given it 4 stars for food as Tito who runs the bar does some wonderful breakfasts and burgers, etc. and the bar which is right by the pool, which ample in size unless you demand an olympic size pool.
It is close enough to be near the night life of Malia, which is a 10 ,minute walk at most, but far enough away to be peaceful. It is between Malia and Stalis.
By the way, if you want to rent a car, then I can highly recommend the place at the bottom of the road. Head down from the hotel towards the sea, turn right and it is immediately on the left.
Eurocars I think it was called. Good cars and a good deal on price, which is negotiable, especially if you pay cash instead of credit card.
We got a Citroen C3 convertible (which is one of the more expensive cars) for a week for 175 euros with everything included. (Remember that was in April though and not in the peak season).

As there was six of us we decided to take three apartments, two to a room. When we arrived however, we realised that three people could very comfortably stay in one. Doh!
The apartments were very modern, spacious, clean and incredibly comfortable which reflected throughout the complex. Situated in a very quiet area, the grounds in which they were positioned were very well kept, with an incredibly dishy gardener out tending to them everyday!
The complex had a large pool with a family run bar, serving food most of the day, a barbeque once a week which at 10 euros a head proved extremely good value. The bar also had a pool table, showers, toilets and a huge screen for football (if you're into that kind of thing).
The staff were more than helpful and very friendly. Our rooms were thoroughly cleaned three times a week and although the maids didn't speak a work of english, they were very pleasant.
Parthenis Palace is located 5 minutes from the very busy Malia town and 2 minutes from the beach. Because it is so close to town, no entertainment is provided.
I will definitely be going back there very soon! I'd give it 10 out of 10.

It was a great the best hotel in Malia so far. It was really clean and a good location. It was between Stalis and Malia so you did'nt get any noise. Only a few minutes walk to the beach and Malia. Would definately go back again. xxx

Me and my four best mates stayed at Parthenis Palace in 2005, since then we have been on 2 more holidays and none compare to it.
Perfectly situated not too near to the main strip that u hear all the loud music and drunken louts coming home, but near enough walking distance to the shops and bars.
great sized rooms, well kept, great atmosphere and great grass area where we spent many an early evening playing football.
Intend to stay here againt he next time we go to Malia.

wicked time in malia i went with 12 of my mates and we had a great laugh, tito the barman and his friend were wicked i ended up leaving my holiday shirt which said streetboi 69 on did any one see it? the manager was a bit of a con though he charged me and my mate 50 euros each because our air conditioning broke which was the only bad point of the holiday its situated away from the noise so when you come back from clubbing its nice that it is quiet.
