Went over to Malia and stayed in the Soula Mari apartments, have to say they are awful. For the money we paid out for the holiday it was definatley not worth it.
The apartments are dirty and very basic and there is no views what so ever. We had our apartments on the ground floor which was all enclosed and looked out to a high wall. There was rubbish and dirt all around the grounds and our bed linen wasn't clean.
The noise is terrible from the other guests, we went to have a laugh and come home round 3-4am but the other guests seemed to stay in and make noise all night till bout 9am.
Everyone in the apartments were scallies and really rough. it was one hell of a scary holiday!!

We all thought the apartments we're ideal just what you wanted and needed, a place to sleep and get a wash !
Hotel staff were very helpful especially Maria! The location of these apartments are perfect right next to all the bars and clubs !

We enjoyed our stay, the staff are great and the other guests all seemed to get on quite well.
It definitely is Malia's party hotel. The security guard is great and definitely does do a good job (give him a drink and anyone is in). Worth the money.
Don't go expecting luxuries just parties all hours.

This hotel is the base for a brilliant holiday!
If your idea of a brilliant holiday is to get mad with it every night and party to the next morning(ie 6,7,8 ish)laze at the pool hung over ,and repeat this for 14 nights!
However, under no conditons come with any of the following wife,kids,mum,dad,gran,grampa,mother in law or you'll hate it. Go elsewhere this is a party hotel,special offer man next door will sort you out with plenty of bevvy and the restaraunt next door is superb,the location is tremendous right on the strip,although watch out for the pick pocket gypsies selling flowers and such they will have the wallet out of yer sky-rocket faster than a rat up a drain pipe.
Good place to stay if you are 18 to 30 looking for a good time.

We had the best holiday ever!
Hotel was in a great location (right on the strip) and most of the people staying there were great and up for a laugh! Staff and the reps were really helpful! restaraunt was gorgeous and the lady in the shop (katrine) was ace! buy ur alcohol from there! the security guard (SG) was top really looked after the place for you! even if he looked like he werent!
this hotel is definately for the young and lively so if your none of those youll hate it!!
we had a front apartment and arrived in the middle of the night for any gals going dont be scared it was completley safe and would definately go back!

The hotel was cleaned every second day which was great as the sheets were also changed then. Our hotel balcony overlooked a waste ground and there were rats in the trees which came on to our balcony.
The location was perfect as it was right on the strip but back far enough you couldnt hear all the noise. Only stay at this hotel though if you want to be seriously sleep deprived!
Although we went to go out and have a good laugh everyone was screaming and shouting till 8 in the morning making sleep impossible as it echos around all the apartments.

The hotel is better in daylight! do not judge like we did if you arrive at night!
The location was brilliant right on strip, doesnt take long to stumble home!
Staff were fine Maria very good!
Dont loose your key though you cant get another one untill 9:30 next day!
There is nthing wrong with this hotel apart from a pool view doesnt exsist so when they tell you in the travel agent you have one-you havent!
Perfect for a girls/lads holiday!

We were staying in the Soula apartment in October 2004. It was absolutely brilliant!!
The room was cleaned every 2nd day which was just perfect as it was just the right amount.
The food served in the restaurant with a friendly smile everytime and was delicious.
The apartments were situated in a perfect location. Near the beach, nightlife and shops. + Lots of talent!!!!
The staff were very friendly, they really got 2 know you and made you feel like you were very welcome. (+ If you get a chance... visit the Paradise Taverna!!!) On Friday nights, there is this cool quiz night/barbeque thing which goes on.. Very entertaining.. Lots of laughs!!
We liked this holiday so much that we are all coming back same time next year 2 do it all again!

We stayed at the soul Mari studios in August 2004 and I have to say they were the worst apartments ive ever stayed in.
The rooms were disgusting and the whole place was like staying in jail for a week. my four friends and I had to get out of the place therefore we moved to other apartments still in malia but had to pay out of our own money coz the rep didn
