When I first got to Mika Villas, I knew I would not enjoy it. Its a small place, with a small swimming pool. It has no entertainment whatso ever. No television in the room = a very boring night.
It is located up a hill, and takes at least twenty minutes walk to get to hersonisoss. In my room, the shower flooded the bathroom, and I slipped and hurt my back. Also, when we got there, they had left no blankets or pillows on the bed so I had to walk down steps into the lobby to request for them, at 6:30 am.
I wanted to go home the first night I got there.
Its a terrible apartment. Terrible location and terrible entertainment.
Avoid at all costs!!!!

first of all if your going to the mika villas be prepared for a very big hill!!! which takes about twenty mins to walk to an down.. an if ye rent a quad over there test it out because i was giving one with faulty breaks and wouldv gone over a cliff if a tree wasnt in the way... and they tell you its a 24 hour bar but no its not it closes around 4 or 5 in the mourning.. oh yeh and watch out for the taxi men over there they're not with it and always ask for a price before you get in the taxi coz they'l charge you loads.. it is a good place to go.. go to temple bar and players are the best it has a great nite life and the best thing about it is you dont go out till like 2 or 3 in the morning de places dont close till like 6.. ohh an star beach is the best!!!!

when we first arrived we hated it didnt want to stay couldnt wait to go home but after the first night we start liking it and end up having the best holiday of our life. Theres loads to do if you dont want to sit by the pool i highly recommend star beach it has everything swimming pools, bungee jump, foam partys, para sailing, shops etc! The night life is brilliant, over there the clubs dont shut till about 5 or 6 so you dont go out till about 2 or 3! An when you first see everyone on the quads ye'll be like get me out of here but we end up renting ones out(have to have licence) and they were deadly the only thing was ye had to wear the helmets down in the town because you'd get a 350 fine if you were cought! all in all it was a brill holiday and i cant wait to go back next year!

Warning to anyone staying in the Mika Villa. There have been dozens of break ins in the Mika Villas, either on your first night or last night. Same ground floor apartments targeted. I myself was victim to a break in were my bag was cut open and all my valuables were taken. Four other apartments were targeted on the same night. I have had other reports of the same thing happening to others. Be extremely cautious as budget travel will not do anything about it. Insurance will also not cover you. Budget travel are sending young people to these apartments knowing what is going on!
