Best location ever, hotel right on the lovely long sandy beach and the town of Stalis right outside front door of hotel. Surrounding area clean, quiet and safe with not a lager lout in sight. Good mix of nationalities, plenty of shops, bars, pubs, restaurants and the most fantastic Chinese restaurant.
Modern hotel with clean lines, really stands out. Infinity pool with comfortable poolside furniture, good quality mattresses that makes for great days at the pool, 2nd pool good also with large cafe/bar area with indoor and outdoor seating, here you could have real homemade chips, pizza etc. and icecream. All inclusive food/drinks were of a high standard and loads of choice. All staff friendly, professional and well informed. Stayed in a side seaview room, only thing I felt could have been better was the air-con and softer mattress. Room well cleaned every day and mini fridge restocked daily with water and soft drinks. Did I mention the views? well it was beautiful from most areas of the hotel, sea views all round, nothing as nice as eating breakfast, lunch and dinner with views of sea, sand and the tavernas of Stalis.
Private area on beach with free sunbeds for hotel guests, plenty to go round and handy beach bar for juice, cocktails and snacks which are part of the all-inclusive package. Hotel entertainment poor but the town of Stalis is on your doorstep. We thought the Anthoussa more suited to couples, middle aged and older, there were very few families when we stayed and the facilities for kids seemed okay with there own little pool, swings etc. Such a lovely place, we thought we really hit it lucky this time and will definately be returning next year for 2 weeks.

We stayed at the Anthoussa Hotel in the last week of the season, October 2007. There was no entertainment and nowhere to escape cigarette smoke in the evening whilst having a drink. We mentioned this to the rep and the hotel staff but is not yet the law here to only smoke outside. The hotel location is perfect, it is right on the beach.the room was better than we had hoped for. The food had plenty of choice initially but tended to be repeated. We asked for and were given a top floor room in case it was noisey in the hotel but this was not a problem. There was a huge number of tables chairs and sunloungers some on the beach and the seafront path in front of the hotel. You could get food and some drink from the poolside bar. This was excellent.
