We booked the Irilena independantly with YouTravel (flew with Thomson) and a free transfer was included in the price. We actually had a full size tour bus for six of us (think he'd been dropping off at the airport) and were in Stalis within 30 minutes!
The apartments are clean and comfortable - myself, husband and two daughters in one and my son and his girlfriend in another.
There's enough kitchen equipment to make a cuppa and a sandwich or warm a tin of hotdogs - adequate for our needs.
We had to have the air conditioning as it was so hot -8 euros per day, 40 per week or 60 for 2 weeks. 15 euros for safety deposit box.
The pool area is very nice - plenty of sunbeds but very quiet - some days we had the pool all to ourselves! I think the reason for this may be that the pool bar isn't open for long - usually just a couple of hours in the afternoon, so if you like to spend all day by the pool without moving far for drinks or snacks then it may not be for you.
The family who own the apartments are lovely people - very friendly and helpful. A mix up on our arrival meant that we were allocated two 3 bedded apartments instaed of one for 4 and one for 2 - they were very apologetic and concerned and as soon as a 4 bed became available (thankfully the next day) we were moved.
The apartments are in an ideal location - a very quiet area but literally minutes away from the bars and restaurants of the beach road. For those who know Stalis take the road opposite the big Anthoussa hotel, past the Kings Head pub then left down a little lane opposite the Katerina taverna.
All in all we enjoyed our stay at the Irilena.
