Julia appartments have a lovely setting the back drop is a pine forest. The rooms are very clean maid service 6 times per week and the linen is changed twice per week, not having the air conditioning did not bother us as it was quite cool on a night but I would hate to be there July and August without it.
The pool area is quite nice however there are no steps down into the shallow end which is over 4ft deep and I did not see evidence of the pool being cleaned in the 2 weeks we were there.
The bar area is kept quite nice however some of the staff do not appear to be happy in there work, we did eat a couple of times at the bar and it ws quite nice.
The main road is just outside of the gates of the hotel so not very peaceful around the pool and the hotel next door is quite noisy both day and night. Music during the day can be heard from the Julia and the other hotel.
Do not expect to have a lie in on a morning either as you are awoken 6 days a week by the bin men then the dawn chorus then the dogs barking then the maids shouting at each other or the gardener cutting the lawn not very restful.

We spent a miserable week here, the weather was bad the whole time, there had been flash floods before we arived and the beach was a mess & there were loads of mozzies.
It was the end of the season and the hotel owner was miserable and unfriendly and on the last night she had packed up the bar and we could'nt even get a drink..... The barmaid was nice & friendly and the gardener who lived in a shed in the grounds was briliant, he should have been the proprietor !!!!!!
We did find some nice places to eat & drink but they were closing down on a nightly basis. We travelled around the peninsula and found some really pretty resorts which we would go back to but as for Fourka.......We have never been so glad for a holiday to end. Don't go there.
