although the hotel staff were ok the actual quality of the accommodation left a lot to be desired........the bathroom in particular was very grubby...we had no hot water for 4 days & the clean towels(when we got them )were like sandpaper......hotel needs a refurb.

The Calypso is a great basic hotel.
The rooms are cleaned everyday.
The hotel is in a great location close to the beach and resort centre.
The pool area was nice although I never used it that much more of a beach person.
Breakfast was good being continental there was not a great deal on offer but it was plently enough bread, eggs, cheese, ham yogurt, honey, watermelon tea coffee etc.
All in all a great hotel for the money, I would go there again.

The hotel Calypso is a very friendly family run hotel with a great location, only 5 min walk to the beach and 2 minutes to the main square.
The rooms are basic but always clean as the maids come every day.
The pool area is small but nice, we found it quite hard to get sun loungers some days though as there isn't many.
We never managed to get up for breakfast although we heard it was nice. Snacks such as pizza, Salad, Chips etc are served until 5pm and these were very nice. The bar opens from 8.30pm until late. All the staff are very friendly. There isn't really any entertainment except a Greek night on a Tuesday which we didn't got too so can't really comment on that.
We would definitely return to the Calypso again.

Calipso is a small well run hotel, clean and quiet and ideally situated for everything. 50 metres to the square and 100 metres to the beach.
Breakfasts can get boring, food is ok but the menu rarely changes, poolside music could do with some variation same songs every day!
But did enjoy this hotel and would return.
Plenty of places to eat on your door step. Slight word of warning the Hot Goblin provide baguettes for your journey home, this was the only place I never received a bill just word of mouth, they were pricey and I don't know if I was ripped off, should of asked for a bill but I let it go.
Beach is a shingle sand and can hurt your feet a tadge, one week was enough for me @ this couples resort.

This apartment/hotel is a small family run business, the staff here are all very friendly and will always help you out whenever needed.
The breakfast is a basic continental breakfast, which was fine everything was always fresh. The Calypso is in an ideal location, approx 5 minute walk from the beach and approx 3 minute walk from the central square.
There was no entertainment until the last week (when we had a Greek night which was really good(plenty of food and always being asked by the staff to join them dancing).

We stayed there May2005....only were 10 in the hotel at time.
The family who ran the hotel were very friendly.....rooms were great, pool was fine.
Only a short walk to the town, as it was may the town was quite, but every one was so friendly.
