We have to say that this was our first holiday abroad as a couple and it was fantstic. The cleanliness of the hotel could not be faulted. Rooms would be cleaned everday with linen and towels being changed twice a week.
We only stayed as bed and breakfast but the food at breakfast was lovely, i will say that they like their eggs, but they also have cereals, fruit, cakes, biscuits, bread rolls and toast. A wide variety.
We did not eat at the hotel for an evening meal but heard from others that the food was nice. Even though we were bed and breakfast, if you did not fancy a trip into hanioti for your evening meal, you could eat at the hotel for 9 euro per person for 3 courses, bargain!
We did have the light sandwiches etc at lunch time and they were lush, we recommend the chicken club sandwich or the western omelette!
The hotel is on its own in the middle of polichrono and Hanioti so you do have to catch the hotel bus into hanioti on an evening for loads of bars, restaurants and especially the sunshine cocktail bar!
The hotel staff are very friendly and it seemes nothing is too much trouble! They put on a greek night at the sister hotel, entertainment there is fantastic, well worth the 15 euro, (7.50 euro if your half board!
As for other entertainment you can either stay in Hanioti for the best bars etc, the last bus runs at 10:30 but a taxi back to the hotel is only 5 euro!
Alternatively make your own fun in the hotels terrace with bar, they also have a playstation, set of playing cards, chess and draughts etc so always something to do if you do get bored!
We will definately be returning hopefully in 2009!
