Lovely restaurant straight down the road called katelios grill house we had our evening meal there all week they were very friendly and helpful and they gave us a free bottle of wine the food was excellent and not expensive .

The resort suffers from the odd whiff of sewage which soon clears when the local poo tanker arrives in town.
Entertainment, well thats not why people come here, here there is a refreshing lack of loud bars, karaoke and drunk brits.
The beach is fine, plenty of sand with some shale, abit of a mess after a storm hit but the tidy tractors were out the very next day
Visit the resort again , I am in the process of tracking down our second holiday to the Island and resort. Great!

Katelios is a small quiet resort and not intended for people looking for night life as in Karaoke and clubbing. The beach at Katelios itself is rather sub standard although Munda (the turtle beach) is beautiful and close by enough to walk to. The Tavernas offer good well priced food and you can while away hours sitting at the water front, enjoying a meal or just a frappe. Katelios is for people who are looking to turn back the clock 30 years in time and just enjoy the simple life.

Katelios is a very quiet resort, compact and with everything you need, although please note there is no doctor, pharmacy or bank. The nearest is in Skala 7km away.
The tavernas in Katelios offer decent food at affordable prices and this is really where your entertainment is found whiling away the hours over a meal and a carafe of wine. The beach at Katelios is not the best but there are better beaches within walking distance. There are also boats for hire and you can whisk away to lots of little unspoilt coves. The taverna and bar owners are warm and welcoming and once they have met you they will never forget you, even if you dont go back for 10 years.

I really love this resort I go twice a year every year the people are so friendly and the place is relaxing. The beach is not perfect but still has beautiful clear waters and lovely scenery and not far away is a gorgeous beach (mounda beach).
This beach is fab theres hardly any people on it the sea is clear and very shallow which is an advantage for little ones and the beach itself stretches for miles.
Would deffo recommend this resort to those seeking a quite and relaxing holiday!
