Kakatos apartments, Lourdes, Kefalonia.
Very attractive apartments from the outside with a nice swimming pool area but no toilets or showers.
Room basic but clean, bathroom very basic reminded us of our first trip to Greece 20 years ago ! Balcony spacious with a wonderful view. Cleaning very spasmodic although great attention was made to cleaning the kitchen sink, shame the bathroom sink wasn't treated the same !
Lack of loo rolls was another issue and we had to ask for replacements twice in our 1 week stay, the lovely white towels were a real treat though.
5 minute walk to the beach and supermarket various tavernas between 5 and 20 minutes walk.

Very basic but the main problem was the rodents.

Basic but clean and well looked after. Bit of a climb up the hill. Excellent air-conditioning. Friendly staff.

Next to the beach, this hotel had stunning views of the ocean. It is a bit of climb up a rather steep hill but you get used to it quite quickly. .
