We visited the Pericles on numerous occassions, for Food, information and the necessary drinks. The Pericles is situated at a nice distance away from the town. The food is value for money.
The Pericles is a quiet hotel, sutable for people who do not want the sounds of children. I think that the road is a problem should there be children in the party.
I would stay at this hotel instead of Yannis anyday.

The evening meals were ok, good value and simple fayre, buffet style so you could eat what you wanted.
Snacks at the pool were on the expensive side and the man behind the pool bar was rude early on in our holiday so we did not eat there after that and with our party of six, the hotel as result lost a lot of buiness.
The room are basic, clean and the air con worked a treat. Towel were changed very regularly, too regularly really - bad for the environment. Rooms could do with a fridge for cold water.
The location out of Sami was ideal for us and the walk into town at lunchtime or at night was good exercise and no trouble. The early morning traffic on the road at the front can be a bit loud.

The hotel is about 10/15 mins walk to the town, take a torch and watch the traffic at night.
The staff were great, Spiros behind the bar such a nice man and the manager Stellios even bought us a drink.
We will be back next year.

Rooms very basic but comfy.
Last two nights provided an evening meal buffet at 10 euros a head for eat as much as you like 4 courses, excellent value for money.
Limited entertainment was good.
Beware we (unknown to us) had insecure locks on windows and consequently were burgled along with a couple above us while we slept - scary and will be taken further. Staff and rep not helpful at all, wouldnt even let us have drink of water!
No air-con until July 1st inspite of 40 plus degrees heat - manager relented in the end due to pressure and switched it on towards end of second week for limited hours each day.
Lovely pool - although catering at pool snack bar leaves a lot to be desired.
Breakfast was good, buffet style, toast, bread, jam, cake, ham, cheese, yoghurt with honey cereal, fruit, boiled eggs, orange juice, tea and coffee.
Nina (South African receptionist) is great. I guess it would be a good place but be prepared to feel isolated if anything should go wrong.
