The hotel cannot decide wether it is All Inclusive or Half Board. We were told it is only half board after this season.
The hotel itself is excellent not quite five star.Make sure you have a Sea view as there are some rooms only looking out to a wall.
Staff are not what you expect from our other Greek holidays ie they are not that friendly.entertainment is poor and you cannot walk to the nearest resort unless you fancy a 2hour walk.
Food is good a good variety and quality.
Drinks not easy to obtain if you are all inclusive as the bar staff favour the Half board people.overall though an excellent relaxing break with lovely surroundings.

This hotel is not for the faint hearted as it is situated on a hillside with all of the accommodation sloping steeply down to the sea (no beach) with the swimming pools and sun decks 108 steps from our rooms! It has recently been upgraded and this unfortunately was still ongoing on our arrival. I booked this hotel on the understanding it was a Spa Resort as this is what is described on their web site - so I was very disappointed to find the Spa was not complete; it should have been finished in May 08! It does also state on the hotel sign - Apostolata Island Resort & Spa!
However, on a more positive note: The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel is set on a hill with stunning views and sunsets across the bay. The food is buffet style with a good selection; the plus point was the location of the restaurant/dining area which overlooked the bay and the lovely views.
The hotel is situated 2 miles out of Skala and the hotel do provide a courtesy bus; more frequently during the day. We did hire a car to get out and about and see this lovely island.
On the whole it was a very enjoyable holiday, but I wished someone had posted a review saying that there was building work going on and that the spa/fitness centre was not finished, we would have booked somewhere else and got exactly what we wanted.
We reported this to First Choice rep at the resort and are currently awaiting the outcome.
