Lianna Apts are situated at the top end of the main road where all the bars / restaurants are, it's only a 10 minute walk to the beach as well but for the elderly or disabled it could prove a tough 10 minutes its back as it's a quite steep hill.
The apts itself is advertised as 2 Star but we were still surprised at just how basic it was, for example it didn't even have a kettle or any security box for your money/valuables, when you add this to the fact that all the balconies are shared, at night you are left with the choice of sleeping with your doors locked closed or leave them open and hope that the people next door are honest, also the shower didn't even have a bracket to hold the showerhead to the wall so you were having to turn it on and off all the time whilst showering.
Any light sleepers should also take into account that the Apts are situated at a junction so every coach, lorry and scooter seems to pass every 30 seconds all night and day, added to the fact that there are a pack of 4 dogs that run wild on the farmland opposite the apts that bark all night it might be a good idea to pack your earplugs.
There isn't any reception or anything like that so you are on your own but to be fair the olympic rep does give yo a 24 hrs number to call if you have any problems.
To sum up we booked our trip very short notice so we couldn't be too fussy and really didn't expect much at all as we left home but the Lianna Apts still left us feeling disappointed, it's basic with a capital "B" which is a shame as a little more thought and effort could help it be a noisy but pleasant place to stay.
