Just spent 2 weeks at the hotel with my girlfriend. What a shambles, an absolute joke. "Breakfast" consited either of a defrosted bread roll or toast which came with the butter already melted, though on special occasions we were given some cake. Air conditioning had to be paid for, 5 euros a day which for a 2 week stay became quite dear. Our bed sheets were hardly ever changed and we were given fresh towels whenever the staff felt like it. The shower unit itself was a joke. The shower curtain and rail had almost broke and the shower head holder was completely knackered. There was a pull cord wch we thought was for our hot water but when we pulled it we found that it just came straight out of the wall, displaying loose wires, the lot. Hot water was available on certain days! Our sink was constantly blocked and the sewerage from the room upstairs ran through our pipes in our bathroom causing a terrible smell at times. We found the owner to be far from nice and felt unable to approach him withour problems. The pool however was brilliant though the pool bar itself was quite dear. I will not be going back there again and would not recommend it to anyone. The hotel really put a dampner on our holiday i'm afraid to say.

We had a fantastic time here, rooms were clean with maid service 6/7 days. All staff very friendly and willing to help, particularly Tony who ran the bar every night. Pool and pool area very clean, plenty of sunbeds and parasols, great pool bar serving food and drink all day. Only made it to breakfast once, was just a piece of toast, roll or cake, a bit lacking, but breakfast within the resort restaurants very reasonable.Very central within Kefalos.
Excellent for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Will definately return.

Stayed in Kamari Bay hotel last August. The hotel and our room were pleasently clean, with a balcony to sit out on.
The hotel staff I found were very friendly and helpful. The pool side snack bar was delicious were you can get burgers, chips and other tasty snacks.
The pool was clean nice, with sunbathing beds round it. The nearest beach is only a few minutes away, with lovely clear blue sea and a mix of sand and shinlge beach to relax on. I would definitely go back to this hotel.
It is situated in an ideal spot and the hotel is lovely.

Upon arriving at the Kamari Bay hotel we were pleasantly surprised to find that even late at night it was clean, well staffed and ready to accept guests.
The hotel itself is well kept, cleaned daily and shows all the marks of being family run.
Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and always willing to chat or help you with any queries you have or even just point out a few local places to make sure you see.
The bedrooms are of a good size with balcony area and are cleaned every day to a high standard. The on-suite bathrooms are cleaned daily and are well equipped with walk in shower, toilet and hand basin.
With guests leaving the hotel at differing times of day to go on trips it was good to see that even at 6.30am there was always someone at the front desk as well as someone ready to serve breakfast for you.
The hotel itself is less than 5 minutes walk from the beach but you wouldn't know it from the extremely low levels of noise. There are numerous local stores within a couple of minutes walk of the hotel and you could dine in a different restaurant each night if you wished as there are around a dozen different restaurants within 15 minutes walk of the hotel.
If you are looking for somewhere quiet to go where your kids can play safely or where you can go as a couple, Kos and the Kamari hotel are an excellent choice. We're looking forward to going back again soon.
