The Mayflower lived up to the good reviews. Well kept and very clean apartments. Pool area lovely, usually enough sunbeds, but anyone could use the pool and this caused a problem with not enough sunbeds on one day.
The family who own the apartments are very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Variety of food served at bar, all of a good standard.
The only problem was the distance to get to the beach, it was about 25 minute walk, this in 40 degrees heat was not good. We spent most of our time at the pool which was a lovely area to chill.
I would definitely recommend the Mayflower Apartments. Not too sure if I could face Kos airport though- it was chaotic on arrival and on departure.

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at the Mayflower. This is the first time we have stayed in these apartments. We had a two bed apartment with a lounge area, kitchen area and two bathrooms and three balconies which were very spacious. The pool area is clean and spacious and there are plenty of sunbeds for everyone. We travelled as a family with two teenagers, who really enjoyed themselves and made lots of friends. The swimming pool and the pool table were their favourites. Christos and his family give you a friendly welcome and by the time you leave are friends. They cannot do enough for you. The food was good and had something on the menu for everyone. Tingaki itself is a nice quiet resort but has plenty of restaurants and bars for all ages. Our favs were Sagattarius and Spyros. The Barbecue at the aparments is a must with lots of Greek dancing and fab food. We did this twice as it was soooo good. Visit Zia in the mountains to see the sunset. You need to be there around 7.30pm in August. Best restaurant is Oromedon in Zia. The pictures on the Thomson website do not represent how good these apartments are. The Mayflowers own website gives you a lot more information and better visual pictures. I would reccommend these apartments to families with children, teenagers and couples of all ages as everyone got on so well together. We will be returning to the Mayflower as it was so good. Thank you everyone for a great holiday. We are missing you all already and will see you all soon.

Great place to stay, staff friendly and helpful especially Jenny who is now my best mate!! rooms spotless as was the pool, two lovely weeks of doing nothing but eating and drinking a total chill out, remember your mozzie spray though and it is a 20 minute round trip on foot to the nearest supermarket but the farms with the chickens, sheep, goats and the peacock make it worthwhile.Loads of tavernas to eat at and all on one street, say hi to Colin in Rendevous (best brandy alexander in Tingaki) and make sure you have fish at Meni but definatley do the Greek night at Mayflower well worth it just for the dancing, and you get to meet some great people aswell.
