I have put Olympic as flew with them...but hotel was booked by kickboxing club
The room was spotless,as was the rest of the hotel. Towels and sheets changed daily. I am a tidy bug and I popped the hotel towels in the wardrobe and used my own not realising they would get changed daily, to use before we went home (only ever stayed in mobiles before)...the next day there was another set left on the bed...which I also popped in the wardrobe...next day yet another set was left for us...I was impressed they were left even though the last 2 lots had dissapeared.
There was hairdryer, kettle, fridge, electric hobs, TV, and airconditioning which we werent asked to pay extra for...as early Nov cold at night so was used to heat room. There were a few bits of cutlery missing which I replaced from the main dining room, not surprised as end of season.
The balconies for all the rooms faced the sea...and the hotel isnt called the Panarama for nothing...from our balcony we could see the mountains and country side on either side and the sea to the front...we could see a little island with a church on, and the hills and mountains on the coatline in the distance. The hotel is set in the hills above the little village of Tolo..just 15 minutes slow walk to the beach which is beautiful...or the cafes resturants bars ect...
The hotel has its own pool which like the rest of the hotel is well maintained and spotless...there are plenty of sunbeds and parasoles round the pool...and a pool bar within a large shaded dining area . All the balconies also overlook the pool.
Breakfast was served in the main block ...the large dining room also contained the reception desk. We really enjoyed the breakfasts .Gorgeous really thick greek yogurt with bowls of honey and peaches to put on it ,boiled eggs, cereal, tea coffee and fresh fruit juice, and bowls of fresh fruit... no fried eggs bacon or sausage and no toast...but unless you couldnt have done without them there was plenty of other choices to compensate...like the lovely scrambled/omlette eggs with bacon bits cooked in it. The bread was sliced baggetes. Things I wouldnt have expected on a breakfast buffet like cheese ,cooked meat, and lovely homebaked type biscuits . Which were taken for later snacks or a light lunch. Having a teenage boy I trayed up his breakfast some mornings and took it to his room...no one bothered or even queried what I was doing.
This was a genuinely family well run hotel, and I felt very much at home here...no one bothered you , but always someone to help you.
The grounds around the hotel were well looked afer...planted wth flower beds and fruit trees.
We went in nov so quiet...places closed or closing down
Only myself and son went this time,as part of British kick boxing squad...they were absolutaly great with the children as well...the owner always ready to fun with them...he even tried to teach us Greek dancing...lovely man...This hotel ideal for a future trip for self and husband to unwind...I will definatly return.
