We booked the Elarin as a late booking. The 3 x twin rooms allocated to us were clean and comfortable with TV (Greek) and Aircon (vital in August) at extra cost. The pretty, bouganvillia shaded pool was generally quiet with sun beds to spare.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and arranged a room for our use after official check-out (chargeable). The only complaint we would have is that the Pool Bar closed very early on some occasions.
The Elarin would not be for those who need to be entertained, and the self catering equipment is very limited, but being only a 5 - 10 minute stroll from Falaraki town centres Bars and Clubs its not hard to find entertainment, restaurants and tavernas.

Booked the hotel only through Olympic holidays who stated it was for young lively people who are on holiday with friends and want a good time. Totally wrong description, we were the only young people staying everyone else was families which made us feel bad when we were coming back from nights out.
The hotel charged us 20 euros per a bed sheet due to sand and sun cream being on them. Bear in mind they were not changed at all during the time of our stay. When we arrived there was no one to check us in so we had to wait for about 4 hours before someone came to check us in. Also security is a bad side here - all the keys to the rooms are in an unlocked box by the bottom of the stairs. BE CAREFUL! If you are after a family hotel then yes go, the lady running the hotel is LOVELY and will welcome children with open arms. If after a young 18-30 holiday, do not believe Olympic stay at Stamos apartments across the road, very much a 18-30 hotel!

the staff where welcoming and the hotel was next door to a supermarket . However you where not aloud food from outside of the hotel around the pool. The hotel was just around the corner from club street and the shops (club street was more quieter than bar street a little futher up which was a better atmoshere more lively and good music playing) the hotel was fairly clean this could have been improved . There was no entertainment in elarin however it was in a good location to find entertainment elsewhere . The people staying in the hotel where friendly and interesting (some a bit wild) .

after a recommendation from my sister,we all decided to visit the elarin for a well deserved break, due to family commitments the only person that couldn't be there was my brother in law.
the rooms were very clean and tidy, the pool was nice and quiet. we did have some rowdy neighbours, but unfortunately the owners eleni and nikos couldn't do anything about it. The rep was as useful as a chocolate teapot and moaned all the time if we needed her.
there was a shop next door to the hotel and restaurants close by, the restaurant at the orion hotel is fantastic, and maria makes you feel very welcome.
my kids loved the hotel and the family that ran it, as did I. we are hoping to go back in june with many family and friends to celebrate my sister getting married, just cant get a flight from brum as kosmar are not allowing anyone flying from birmingham to stay in the hotel.
i would recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a nice friendly place to stay. everyone is made to feel welcome and relaxed.

This is the fourth time in as many years that I have visited Elarin, the owners, a wonderful couple called Elani and her husband Nikos, who couldnt be more helpful or nicer to their clients.
The apartments are extremely clean and wonderfully kept, with weekly entertainment (barbecue's, kareoke etc.)the accommodation is situated towards the end of a road called club street, pubs and clubs and restaurants are within three to four minutes and the beach around five minutes.
This resort is not only for couples and groups, but highly recommended for families as there is a great deal to do and Faliraki has a glorious beach.
Highly recommended.
