The parts of the hotel we did see were very well kept and clean.(apart from the toilets along the corridor leading to the disco take a peg with you if you use them)!
The food was fine always something to eat in the main restaurant and at the snack bar, you will not go hungry! Always lots of choice maybe not for children though unless they like chips which are available all the time.
You do get alot of aircraft going over but this did not bother us at all we just had a stiff neck at the end of the week because we were watching them all go over!
All the hotel staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful, the entertainment was very funny could become a bit repetative though. The animation team tried really hard and impressed us with their ability to speak in so many different languages so no-one felt as if they were not being included. Even though our children were not with us we got involved in the childrens section of the evening - we even bought the CD at the end of the week! We also watched them during the day and thought they were very good.
We did not go to the Greek Night but would of done if we had taken the children just for the experience.
We want to go away next year for two weeks with our children and we would not rule this hotel out.

The standard of food at the main hotel is poor, but if you travel to the blue bay sunlounge hotel the food is above average.
Never eat in the main blue bay building resturant!
We met a few english guests who were staying at the main blue bay building, all of which had requested a move to an alternative hotel via there holiday reps, only 1 was sucessful!
If your idea of entertainment is to see grown men dressed up as woman and babie's with nappies on. Then you will be at home here, if not as myself you will leave taking your children in a hurry to your hotel room as the daily evening entertainment is constantly of the animation team dressing up as the opposite sex.
On my visit there were a lot of Germen and Dutch people who i found generally to be rude to both staff and patrons alike.
I would not recommend this Hotel to anybody with impressionable kids.
The constant barrage of airplanes flying overhead make you appreciate the quiet when you arrive home. That is unless you leave in Heathrow Airport.

You do have airplanes flying overhead, as you are close to the airport, but they seem to have set times during the day that they appear (on some days there are hardly any)plus you tend to ignore them after a while.
The food was very good, but I would imagine a little boring for children. I was more that happy myself and I particularly enjoyed the live cooking station every evening.
The staff were pleasant and the entertainment team were fantastic. I think they were trying their hardest to make up for the aircraft noise and some of the team members seemed to have limitless energy and enthusiasm. Plenty of activities during the day and the evening's entertainment was enjoyable but maybe a little "risque". Parental control is a must! Billy and his team were terrific.
Would definately go again.

I think the rooms on the higher floors were much better because other people we spoke to at the resort had no complaints so watch out for the ground floor rooms tucked behind reception! Bad news.
The food was fantastic i must admit! what a great selection! Something for everyone!
Apart from our room, the rest of the hotel was lovely yet a bit dated and also very clean.
