A fantastic hotel set within beautiful scenery. Very relaxing and peaceful. Many secluded areas around the grounds for sunbathing. A very clean place with excellent staff and service. The food was to the highest standard with plenty of choice and you are allocated a table in the dinning room so no need to find a place to eat. A bar close to the beach would be a big improvement as you had to trek back to the hotel if you wanted a drink.

the atrium palace is an excellent hotel for couples and families alike .it is rare to find this standard in greece based on my previous travels.our room was probably 4 star based on uk standards with a fairly non descript side view but as we got cheap deal we were happy with this .

rooms kept spotless by lovely cleaners as was all the hotel.air con not very effective and needs replacing.pool area amazing def 5 star at least 5 pools very child friendly as shallow and gently shelving .quiet pools also for couples!pool bar serves great cocktails and toasties.spa is fantastic if youre loaded great range of treatments using thalgo products.

buffet breakfast excellent everything from omlettes to fresh pancakes and healthy stuff too.had evening buffet twice was very good with option of 3 special main courses waiter served if nothing else takes your fancy. restaurant has fantastic setting overlooking pool area.

evening entertainment involved kids disco 9 til 10 followed by various acts some of which were first class especially "starlight".bar staff friendly and efficient as are all staff .very cosmopolitan hotel all nationalities great for people watching!met wonderful people best holiday ever!

Stayed 10 nights at the Atrium Palace, having booked fairly late from the Olympic Gold brochure. The Gold package includes private taxi transfers which were very efficient and welcome given our unsociable late / early flight times.

We stayed on a B & B basis as the size of the breakfast buffet and subsequent heat of the day made a full lunch unnecessary.

Snacks are easily obtained from the pool bars or mini market in the Hotel. For dinner, the Hotel has 2 restaurants plus there were 4 independent restaurants / tavernas within easy walking distance plus all the facilities of Lindos within a 15 min taxi ride, (8 - 10 Euros each way).

The Atrium Palace is a good example of a Mediterranean 5 star resort type hotel with excellent facilities, we counted 7 outdoor pools of all shapes and sizes so the grounds are not crowded even in high season, we never had a problem finding 3 sun loungers together.

Despite the Hotel's size, the low rise layout and friendly staff gave it a much more intimate feel. Car & scooter hire is available from reception with a good selection of nearly new vehicles kept on site, this was all very easy to arrange.

The Hotel also has two indoor pools, one of these being in the spa centre which offered a wide range of services and seemed very quiet.

There are many different room types as well as the villas in the grounds. We booked a junior suite which was large and had an excellent sea view.

The only problem we encountered was an invasion of ants, these were dealt with on the same day by the housekeeping team and did not reappear.

We did three of Olympic's tours: Symi Island (which is recommended as it is very different to Rhodes), the Island Tour (easily done yourself if you have a hire car but the wine tasting is good fun) and Rhodes Town at night (again, easy to do yourself but does save the trouble of driving).
Weather was completely consistent, sunny and hot every day. Fairly humid but not uncomfortably so.

All in all, we would recommend the Atrium Palace for a relaxing resort holiday in the sun.

We had a wonderful two weeks in Rhodes and at the Atrium.

We stayed in one of the villas with its own pool although there seemed to plenty of space around the public pool which was lovely and very unique as it was set on about 4 levels

One thing I would say is don't go after the second week in October as pretty much everything closes after that week.

We went here for our wedding (married at St Paul's Bay).

We booked a villa with it's own pool, which is fabulous and lovely at night for a quiet drink next to your own pool (unfortunately we didn't get the best use of our villa as we had family in Lindos and Pefkos, therefore we where out most of the time).

The hotel is lovely, although did seem that everyone else was foreign (think it was predominantly German and Dutch). The restaurants seem fine, however our favourite had to be Asterias Restuarant towards the beach. It had only been recently opened when we arrived and we where overwhelmed with it's fantastic setting and lovely decor. We decided there and then after a lovely quiet meal and drink that this is where the Wedding Reception would take place.

Due to us being out most of the time, we didn't get to see much in terms of entertainment, however didn't seem too much in ways of this.

The mini market is very useful for little bits and bobs too.

I'd say the staff where okay, but there wasn't much in terms of getting to know staff as it did seem to have a lot of staff on reception. Can't speak for the bar staff as once again due to our busy schedule we didn't have much time to get to deal with the staff much.

The Pools are splendid and when we travelled there was not much in way of busy pools or likes, also it was quite kids-free from memory (the overall hotel I mean).

The big downside I felt was it's location, Kalathos is very quiet and not much there, so it meant a jump in a taxi every time to goto busier Lindos, however it was kinda expected and we did rent a car in the end so we did know what we where in for.

We hope to return again sometime and this time try and get the full use of our villa.
