Stayed at the Panorama Hotel in Rhodes town for 2 weeks. All the staff were friendly and very helpful (some can seem to be a bit crazy). The room was cleaned every day with clean bed linen and towels on a daily basis. Food was excellent and at a reasonable price.
There is a bit of a walk if you want to go into the new or old town (about 30 minutes to the old town) but taxi prices are fairly reasonable if you don't want to walk.
The main bar does not normally open until 4pm (was a bit earlier due to the world cup being on whilst there) and prices for drinks are very good (2.50 euros for a large amstel) food is available from 8am until late evening and if you want a drink before the main bar opens you can get one from the snack bar or restaurant from 8am.
The bar is open until about 2am (or whenever the barman leaves after 2am).
A very relaxing holiday and worth every penny!!!
