I have just returned from the Boathouse hotel after staying there 2 years ago I was really looking forward to it.
Things have changed a bit the hotel is now split into 2 sections. The Boathouse is now 22 rooms and only book able independently. The other section is now called the Arion Bay Hotel and this is the section that most will recognise as the Boathouse mainly because of the staff.
Arion Bay can either be booked via First Choice at a very high price or booked direct via arionbay@hotmail.com at a much lower rate.
First choice are calling this section BoatHouse Pensions but it as nothing at all to do with the Boathouse
So just be careful if you want the Boathouse Hotel you have to book it via www.boathousehotel.com if you want the section were Tony and all the rest work you have to book with First Choice or Direct much cheaper.
