Have stayed in basic Greek accommodation before and have been pleasantly surprised. Sandy villas however is tired and run down. Sandy couldn't care less and only got of her backside to take your money. Grey bedding and towels. 12 euros for 2 Orange juice. Pool is nice but she's on guard like a Meerkat making sure you don't bring your own drink. Nicely situated for local bars and restaurant's.
Will not be revisiting.

A great complex, basic yes, traditional Greek furnishings but clean, the rooms cleaned daily fresh towels etc, plenty of hot water, I asked Sandy (manager) for extra pillows and we were given them straight away. The complex is a family run complex they work very hard and extremely long days, but they always welcome you with a smile. The apartments are also spacious, you can hire a safe for 15 euro, and also air conditioning for 6 euro a day , a must really, some apartments do not have air con but you can hire fans. Sandy will offer you these when you arrive, along with bottled water to get you going. I notice on some reviews that it has been said that Sandy is pushy with the hard sell of the above, but we did not find this, you can say no, but you will be be hot particularly at night. We did not eat here, so can not comment on the food but many guests did, the pool is large and clean and is lovely for that afternoon swim. Never crowded and always sun beds available. Entertainment at the complex was limited they did offer a weekly BBQ but again we went into the main resort or else where on an evening, a short walk away maybe 5 / 10 mins brings you into the centre of perissa so in my opinion ideally situated. If you are looking for luxury maybe this is not the place for you, but it has also the amenities for a perfect base to explore the stunning island, and for the price you pay to stay here, not sure what people expect, after all you only really sleep and shower there, luxury can easily be found on the island at a price, so when you make your choice if you want traditional clean accomodation then sandy villas is more than adequate.

Hotel tip: Higher floor overlooking pool, as we were at back, also request room with air con a must

the Hotel is on the outskirts of the town at the foot of the hill, it has a lovely pool & bar area (although prices at the bar depended on who was serving) Room was very clean but there is a lack of storage, so if you do not want to live out of your suitcase for a couple of weeks this is not for you. Kitchen equipment was typical holiday apartment & very basic. staff were friendly but look out for Sandy trying to insist you need a fan as part of a package to go with the safe in the room. (Prices are not set on this and this charge seemed very high to us)safe is available on its own and the basement room we were in did not need a fan.

We stayed at Sandy Villas 3 years ago, and nothing has changed in that time. Our room was an apartment for up to 4 adults and was plenty big enough for the 2 of us. If there are 4 of you in there, it would feel 'cosy'
The room was cleaned every day apart from Sundays. Our bedroom was up a spiral staircase in the middle of the living area. Up there it was very, very warm at night, so you need to rent a fan from Sandy (the ownwer) as there is no air con.
Kitchen equipment is basic, and I mean basic.
Not enough pots/pans etc if there are more than 2 of you.No kettle, so take your own or wait for 20 mins for a pan of water to boil for you cuppa.
Nice big balcony with plenty of room and a nice views as well of the mountains and pool.
The pool is quite big with free sunbeds, but not enough brollies. There is a bar serving the usual drinks/snacks, and the is also a bbq held every Thursday (15 Euros) for food and wine all evening. A`10 - 15 minute stroll takes you to resort. There are much better places to stay in Perissa, but if your after a good base with a decent pool, but prefer to spend your evenings outside of the hotel, then this is for you.
Wouldn't go back as been twice now, so been there, done that so to speak.
