Hotel Rena is very basic we admit, but it was lovely and clean, friendly and was a great base to stay in. The pool is great and you can always get a sunbed, no need to put your towels out lol. The staff are very friendly and will try to accomodate your needs where possible. This hotel is not the best in Perissa but we really enjoyed our stay and will go back.

The Hotel Rena is in a time warp. Spotlessly clean but stuck in the 1960's.

Fastastic pool area Soree keeps it clean tidy and the guests fed watered & entertained. He is the entertainment. When he is not keeping the bread eggs/cheese & coffee supplied in the dining room (thats about it for breakfast)he is cooking cleaning & generally dashing about keeping everyone happy.

The rooms are very small with almost no storage space. We stayed for 2 weeks & it was a work of art trying to find space for all the bits & bobs you accumulate.

We must have had the cleanest bathroom floor in Perissa, we flooded it every time we showered. That's what the plughole in the floor was for!

The Rena is situated on a quiet unmade road. The drop off coach leaves you about 200 yds away as it cannot get any nearer. 90% of the time it was quiet but you cannot legislate for loud mouth Yank back packers, in the next door apartments. All the other nationallities were mindful& considerate of their neighbours.

Although every day was an adventure at the Rena, unless it is seriously renovated we will not be staying there again

The hotel is just like any other Greek one. The rooms are basic & simple - it was small and the decor was dated. The shower was on the tiny side. However, the room was cleaned every day and clean linen/towels every 2 days.

The hotel has a great pool area and pool bar which also serves food during the day - mainly snacks.

It was great for what we wanted - somewhere clean & quiet to rest in between sight seeing (do the boat trip to the volcano and watch the sunset at Oia) and after a great evening out. The tavernas and bars are situated along the beach road and the main road. The hotel is in between but you do not notice any noise at night.

We never managed to make breakfast so cannot comment on food. But food from Pool bar was good. Fantastic omelette's.

Staff are very friendly and will help with any queries.
