Hotel lobby etc recently renovated - very nice. I beleive rooms to be done in winter 2006. Only fault with the rooms is the shower - the bracket is not flexible so it sprays everywhere! No stock in fridges. (we used to fill up with our own stuff from the supermarket across the road - far cheaper anyway!)
Food was buffet and was ok - nothing great. Puddings were very nice - much of the same every night though. The head chef was very hospitable - one of our children is vegetarian and if there was anything not suitable in the buffet for her, he would get something specially made for her in the kitchen! Also we requested that he make a specific pudding and he did! (bless)
Location of the hotel ideal - right on the beach (It is not the hotels private beach though). You still have to pay for the brollies and sun beds on beach - about 8 euros.
Olympic Rep service varied - depending on which rep it was (Kate was rather useless)
Would rate the hotel just under 4*
Will be back to this hotel, but will book it independently for b&b only.

My partner and I were very disapppointed by this hotel. It has all the basics to be a really great hotel eg its location, lovely pool, close to a great beach, lots of space , extremely well kept gardens etc. What it lacked was any real attempt to make you feel welcome by the staff (they were polite but just not very interested).
This with the lack of a real focal point of a decent bar area meant there was a distinct lack of atmosphere in the hotel.

I stayed in this hotel as part of an educational as I'm a travel agent.
I thought it was a lovely hotel situated directly on the beach.
The restaurant is lovely and there are lovely surroundings around the hotel. There is a tv lounge area and pool, jacuzzi and massage avaliable. Althought this hotel is situated on the main road going around Skiathos there was no noise to be heard.
The rooms were extremly clean and you could also upgrade to a suite if required.
There is not any real entertainment but it is only a short bus or taxi ride into town.
