Asselinos is a quiet country area of Skiathos with just Villa Angela, a beach taverna and camp site, but as the island is so small it is easy to visit busier resorts and Skiathos town. A hire car is needed as the closest the bus gets to Asselions is Troulous 4 km away - Pasquale will get you quotes before your holiday so the car will be at the airport for you. Driving is easy on the island - no rush hour, no motorways, one mini roundabout and one set of traffic lights (which have been out of action on my last 3 visits to the island!). A real get away from it all holiday and resort.

Aselinos is a stunning beach on the north coast of Skiathos. It is the main stopping point for the round the island tourist boats so can be busy at lunchtimes.
The beach is subject to the prevailing north winds but when the wind changes you could think you were in the caribbean, as the sun behind you makes the sea the most aquamarine blue.
A good spot by night to see the stars and the shooting stars should you so wish.

Villa Angela, based in Aselinos Valley, is ideal for a peaceful holiday in a beautiful location. Situated in a wooded valley just 5 minutes by car from Troulos and 5 minutes walk from the beach - it couldn’t be more perfect.
There is no entertainment as such in the area of Aselinos but Troulos has many restaurants and bars. The beach at Aselinos is stunning, a pretty bay backed by the wooded valley with golden sand and a very good taverna.
