We have just returned from the Boudouriani House Apartments and felt I had to write a review on this holiday and especially these apartments.

The apartments were typical basic Greek self catering apartments but the pool and bar area were amazing. The family who run the apartments were brilliant, couldn't do enough for you.

The food served at the pool bar was great and just what you needed for breakfast and day time snacks. The sun loungers and furniture were really comfortable and made it difficult to tear yourself away from the pool.

The accommodation was just what you needed for a relaxing and quiet holiday. The bar on the evening was run by Illias, who was the son of the family who owned the apartments and was a brilliant host. He was so friendly and entertaining and would keep the bar open till the last man was standing. We were also lucky enough to meet some really nice people out there but that was the kind of place it was, everyone was friendly.

My only complaint is that the hotel is next to a small farm and at 4am you are suddenly woke up by the loudest cockerel in the world and the noisiest donkey/dog/seal type thing (couldn't work out what animal it was). Advice: buy air con and keep doors closed.

The beach was a 5 minute walk and was a beautiful beach with tavernas on the sea front and crystal clear water, with comfy sun loungers also.

Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and the food out there was amazing, massive portions and reasonably priced.

The bus service was frequent to other beaches and Skiathos town but don't try and get on it during peak times, health and safety is none existent and will pretty much ram as many people on as can be squeezed on and I pretty much ended up sitting on the drivers lap and in that heat, it's not pleasant.

Would also recommend Koukannaries beach, beautiful clear sea and white powdery sand and plenty of loungers as this beach is massive.

Brilliant holiday, love this island, love the people and loved the hotel.

having been to greece many times exploring different islands we have enjoyed every holiday but skiathos is something else our apartments were not the best we have stayed in but were fine the staff and surroundings more than make up for any misgivings the pool area is lovely and a short walk away you have the beach would definatly reccomend

we have just returned from our first go at independent travel in greece where we stayed at boudouriani house hotel and we loved every minute of our stay there The hotel is run by the very friendly and welcoming family who own it. The photos from the web site did not do it justice and the photos in the Thompson catalogue are outdated. The hotel is lovely with dark rattan furniture around the bar and pool and on the balconies. It is lovely and clean and Sofia and Christos look after you in the day time and have a good choice of food available all day and it is so easy to stay around that pool on those fab new sunbeds. Come evening and Ellias appears and continues where his parents left off, happy to look after you and serve you drinks until you are ready to go to bed. Try the coffee and baileys its delish.
It is only a few minutes walk from the beautiful Troulos beach and the bus stop to skiathos town and the other amazing beaches on the island is 50m away. Banana beach is a must. As for eating there are plenty of tavernas within walking distance to keep you going not to mention those on the beach.
Would we recommend this hotel, without hesitation and if we go back to skiathos we will definitely be going back to see Ellias and his family.

We stayed here in early October, the apartments are extremely clean and we had a good pool view, the owners are very nice and polite, the only sad thing is, we didn't see much sun and it rained quite alot.

These apartments are clean and typically Greek. Self catering facilities more than adequate.

Excellent swimming pool and all round above average.

Only real problem was accommodation was on the main road and suffered badly from traffic noise.

The hotel is really nicely laid out in lovely surroundings, it is very clean and tidy well kept and maintained. The apartment is very well kitted out for self catering, roomy and well maintained.

The hotel was excellent, my wife uses a wheelchair at times and the location and layout of the place helped us greatly. It is flat accessable and easy to get around
