Just noticed that the Socrates Plaza has no reviews so I thought I would post mine.
Fantastic position, just a few steps down to the beach.
George, his mum and the staff are fantastic, they do everything to make your holiday enjoyable. They serve breakfast and snacks at lunchtime which are very good.
The resort is very quiet, only a handful of bars and restaurants but everyone is SO friendly and the food and drinks are cheap and good quality If you want a bit more life, Thassos Town is only a short taxi ride away.
Weather in June was mixed (we had about 3 days of rain and there was absolutely nothing to do). George (otherwise known as double G (gorgeous George) take note: Put on a quiz or something on for your 'captive audience'. You could have made a bit of money and broke up a few boring days!!
Had a good night at the hotel quiz/barbeque. Definately on my list of places to visit again.
